To whom is interested; Is it possible to make an EA that; - Enters pending STOP-orders every x-pips - Buy when PA is above the 240MA - Sell when PA is below the 240MA - SL @ 240MA - TP @ ?? - Re-enters after retraces - Adjust lotsize by distance to 240MA [%-risk] After Bob found it, we all embraced the 240MA to be the border of the trend, below is DT and above is UT. So we all sort of 'trust' PA to keep heading the way it is heading until it breaches the 240MA. So any buy-order is bound to TP at some point in time, as long as the PA stays above the 240MA, and vice-versa for sells. So if the EA adds stop-orders every 10 pips, and TP after 20 pips, there would be most of the time 3 orders open. A 100 pip run would deliver at least 200 pips, and even more after retraces. Risk could be limited by choosing the right lotsizing, if the EA puts 0.5% at every trade the loss might 'only' be 1.5% when crossing the 240MA. Any thought? I wouldn't be able to put 2 lines of code together if my life depended of it, hence the question. |

I would say that 10.4 auto trader by MrLong can do it without a problem. It just need to use 10.5 (or every x pips) entries instead of 10.4. But he is not interested in it so I don't know if somebody can rewrite MrLong code. MrLong permission is needed to allow somobody to do it and you (we) need a coder who wants to do it. |
