Hello: I've never posted on this forum but I've been a member for a while so I hope that this is correct. I found an EA on another forum. I don't know anything about coding but I think that once it's completed it will work just fine. I know the strategy and I think the only thing required would be that it be coded to recognize an indicator and have an option to work with a suffix or not and be ECN compatable. I think the operation of it could already be programmed inside it possibly just requires finishing. If someone would be willing to assist me I would greatly appreciate it as I have not seen anything this straight forward,simple and look like theoretically it would work if someone could just tie up some loose ends. What are you wittering about? There is some imaginary ea. There is some imaginary trading system. Neither of which are detailed in your post. Nothing here for anybody to do anything with. And you expect the rest of us to do anything with your post? Dream on.  |

As I said I'm new to posting here. I'm sorry I didn't realize what I was supposed to post within my comment...jeeeeeeeez. Tough crowd. Okay here is the strategy as it was posted in the forum Renko 6-12-EMAs System Hello everybody, I have this idea, is a Renko System with a great potential just need some fine tuning. So I need your help. These two files need to go into experts folder, both are EAs -RenkoLiveChart_v3.2 -EMA_6_12_with_SL Template: Renko 6-12 needs to go into Templates folder Settings for EAs 12 - 15 pip bricks should work the best. A lot of work needs to be done. First we need to add a CCI filter period 24 to EMA_6_12_with_SL EA so it can only open long position when 12EMA cross below 6EMA and CCI is 90 or over Open short positions when 12EMA cross above 6EMA and CCI -90 or lower. This is to avoid a lot of false entries. Second we need to do some back testing, and try different settings there is very little info on back testing Renko Charts. Note: Renko charts need tick data to build so the market needs to be open. So what do you think? I don't know how to attach the other files to this thread if someone could tell me how then I would be happy to do it.....never mind...found it...lol |
