Post subject:  Looking for good 4H Strategy
Hi Guys,

I have recently developed an intense interest about 4 Hour time frames (as it allows me to sleep a lot :lol: ) and looking for any good strategies based on it. I am currently working on a basic High/Low type system and trying to improve it.

Any help is highly appreciated.

So you weren't interested in the Hoichoi EA thread?

That's also based on 4 hour timeframe and the strategy uses the High/Low of the 4 hour candle.

Thanks for Reply Micheal. Yes I have seen the Hoichoi EA. But instead of a certain time, I am hoping to find a more dynamic strategy.

Maybe this is something which fits you:

Hugh Briss' Swing trading with heiken ashi and stochs.
He prefers the 4H timeframe, but others work also.

Hugh Briss is doing an excellent work with that thread, I am following it from the beginning. Never miss a 4H system. But to be honest, I think HA candles are very confusing, they look pretty when you look back, but trading them live, I find it very difficult.

Anyone could recommend a good 4H trend following system? I am currently trying to develop one with 3 ema (10,25,50), Old thing actually, I am now looking for a good filter for it.

FWIW, I agree about the HA candles. When I looked at them, they appeared to be insisting that the market was moving in one direction in the bace of a blizzard of actual quotes in the opposite direction. I did not feel this to be helpful. :lol:
