SERIOUS WARNING
- Most Forex traders lose all their money.
- Using the robot posted here in trading Forex does not guarantee success.
- Trading this robot could lead to serious financial loss.

- This is not a set-and-forget ea; there is no such thing and anyone who tries to claim there is, is either stupid or lying. This ea requires frequent manual intervention.
- At best, a trading robot is only 90% as good as the manual strategy it trades. At best. At worst, it can be much less effective. If the strategy is rubbish, so is the robot.
- To trade this robot, you have to understand:
- How to use EA's. Remember to set IsGlobalPrimeOrECNCriminal to 'true' if your crim insists on two-stage order sending.
I am not yet trading this EA on my live account
Nor do I ever expect to. If trading were this simple, we would all be doing it and getting rich from doing so. Never mind. tex is a long-standing member here; he has not asked for much in the past; he has contributed a lot; he once withstood a blistering from me without complaint; he deserves something back. So, here goes.
tex's basic premise is this: if trade volume as measured by TVI_v2 for tex EA.mq4
- passes zero from below and closes above zero then the buyers are in control so:
- close sell trades and open buy trades.
- passes zero from above and closes below zero, then the sellers are in control so:
- close buy trades and open sell trades.
The more inputs a CCA (Crap Custom Abortion) has for the user, the more likely it is that a call to the CCA from an EA will fail so:
- TVI_v2 for tex EA.mq4 is the CCA that tex uses to measure trade volume.
- you need it in your indi folder or the ea cannot work.
- you do not need it on your chart, but having it there will help confirm the ea is working correctly.
- it is a cut-down version of the CCA tex sent to me. He will provide you with the full version if you are daft enough to really want it.
- I have recently learned both how to use CSS and to include it in my EA's. It is as far removed from the usual CCA crud as is Einstein from primeval slime, and have included it with this EA:
- 10.5 CSS 4H 1.0.8.mq4 is the full version of CSS with the full list of inputs. This goes on a single chart and allows you an overview of all the currencies strengths. You do not need this indi here; it is up to you whether you use it or not. Do not ask questions about it here; I will delete your posts.
- 10.5 CSS 4H 1.0.8 modified for automation.mq4 is the indi you need in your indi folder for the EA to work. It is the same as 10.5 CSS 4H 1.0.8.mq4 but has fewer inputs.
Note that all these extra filters are disabled by default and ootb, the ea will work as tex originally wanted. It is up to you guys to find the mixture of settings that actually work profitably.
Over to tex to field questions about the underlying stratergy. I have no interest in this but will happily code updates to the EA.
