Hello Paul!
Thank you so much for programming and sharing this. Just one question, did you really updated the file in Post 1? The post was edited and the version number edited to "v1.1.3" (below the file), but the file itself says it's version "1.1.2" and nothing about "1.1.3" on the release notes. I redownloaded several times but maybe I have something wrong with my cache.
If this is the case, that might answer last post's problem (from w633). If it's just me being an idiot, sorry to disturb.

I'm using the Append LibCSS in an EA and the latest version of Empty4 is giving a few errors, but the EA seems to be working OK, but can you check the code if you get chance just to make sure?
Thanks, JP

Could someone show me the link on how to read the CSS indicator?
I know only few like if currency cross above 0.0, it going strong and vice-versa together with a steep slope.
Questions:
1) What's the 0.2 & -0.2 horizontal line for?
2) The "difference threshold" parameter. Is it a slope setting?
I'm using:
10.7 CSS.v3.1_withAlerts_ 24 pairs-6xx.mq4
Thank you,

Hey everyone,
Not sure if this is the place to ask this question - hoping so.
I am putting the individual CSS up for each pair I am watching on the one hour chart. However, I would like to have the CSS show the daily instead of the one hour reading - while still looking at the hour chart. If I put auto time frame to false will I be looking at the daily CSS being that the time frame and extra time frame inputs say D1 - even though it's a 1 hour chart?
-Or-
Would it be better to be watching the CSS as a 4 hr reading while watching the 1hr chart? And if so how would i get that?
Thoughts.
Thanks
P.S. Baluda.... BRAVO It is an amazing piece of work.

usually if you want to play the crosses its better to use CSS from a lower TF. For example I use the CSS cross on a 30M chart if I trade the 1H or 4H charts. I am doing that now in HGI CSS thread. CSS lags but the visual shows two line approaching or leaving each other that makes it predictive. If you wait for a cross on a daily and your trading a lower TF you will miss a good part of the move. If price goes into range mode you may not catch the move at all. So reverse your logic and use the slower TF crosses on CSS to trade higher TF.
There is one that does that but dont remember which one. If you set the settings right it will the CSS from one TF on another. But if you did this thte CSS TF window is different than the one you have the candles on and it can be confusing.

Thank you Baluda for this impressive library!
I have used it successfully with some modifications.
I have never seen the dot "." in variable names and function names before, at least not in MQL4.
Have I missed something here?
What I did to use it was to replace all "." with a "_" and then it compiled.
Some samples:
bool libCSS.useOnlySymbolOnChart = false;
void libCSS.init()
{
libCSS.initSymbols();
...
For me it worked when I changed it like this:
bool libCSS_useOnlySymbolOnChart = false;
void libCSS_init()
{
libCSS_initSymbols();
...
I develop in Empty4 since 4+ years.
How have other developers done when using this library?
