Post subject:  CSS to JForex
After reading the various threads here on these forums about which other platforms there are and doing an extensive comparisson I've decided to switch to JForex, mostly for it's advanced backtesting capabilities, with great tickdata and it's done in Java, which I already know. Yes there's not much choice for brokers, but I assume DukasCopy is not bad.

Since the EA I'm writing uses CSS, which accesses multiple currencies, I can't backtest it in Empty4 correctly and so I will be rewriting CSS for JForex. I'll be posting the results in this subforum.

If there's anyone who is already doing this, or has done this, please could you let me know :) It would save me a great deal of time :) Also if you'd like to help, that would be great! :D

Progress!

On the top is the Empty4 CSS, on the bottom you can see the one in JForex, at least they look the same, except for some reason JForex is cutting off the most important part (most recent) lol. I have to figure that out, no big deal, as I already checked it does calculate it..

It only took me about 10 days to learn JForex and implement the CSS into JForex in Java. I did, however, already know how to code in Java so that helped a lot!

I think coding for JForex is not hard, but there are some peculiarities... don't they all :)

I will upload the code once it's complete and it works satisfactory

There is a CSS written by Dukascopy

You need to add it to the Custom Indicators node in the Workspace panel and then add the indicator to the chart.

I attached the java file but you can download it from the JStore
