Hi everyone, I've been searching around and can't find anywhere an EA which I'm after. I currently use Steve Hopwood's MPTM and it works great, however I either need help tweaking a setting or even using a new EA. As background, I am using Zulutrade to receive signals from SPs and have set a SL for each provider to 20pips. Unfortunately when Zulutrade sets these Stop limits or Take profits, they're sometimes quite inaccurate. For example I've had a few trades that the stop loss was set 27-28 pips away from entry, also the Take profits are often 1 pip less than in the settings so I get less on TP and lose more on SLs. I will alert them to this but in the meantime would like to address this ASAP as I'm not expecting miracles on their part. The solution I'm after is using an EA to monitor the TP and SLs for every open trade and modify them to be within a particular range. Eg, If I set max SL as X pips and Min TP as Y pips then any SL exceeding X pips loss will auto adjust to X pips, any SL less than this though will be left alone. Vice Versa, If a TP is under Y pips, the TP will be adjusted up to Y pips. I've been trying to fiddle with the parameters in Steves's MPTM where the missing SL/TP settings are instead of working on orders with 0 SL/TP. All I get though is all SL/TP get modified back even when withing the correct range and the alerts tab goes nuts. I figure it would be easier to use this feature in a separate EA as MPTM is important to keep running as is. Thanks in advance for any/all help. |
