Hello,
I like to trade using Java and some calculations you wish to do are just impossible to realize in mql4. To the day I am using simple text files to get data from my Empty4 terminal to Java and back. (Buffered Reader + Input Streams).
It is doing it's job but streams or pipes would be the better solution after all. Has anyone already gathered some experience with pipes in mql4 and Java? This is a problem I would like to tackle in the near future and any hints about good readings are highly appreciated.

Hi Kilian

I manage Empty4 via an API integrated via DotNet in my windev software. I don't know about Java, but if you can manage DOTNET in Java, you should manage Empty4. This API can be found at http://www.mt4api.net/

I've also found this for Java/API/DotNet http://www.nj4x.com/
