I just want to view the charts as they really are. I don't really like the concept of set timeframes. I would like to zoom in on a line chart and simply have the resolution increase according to what is viewable on the screen. I don't want candles. I don't want auto scaling. I want be able to zoom all the way into tick data and when I zoom out I only want tick data hidden when it is too small to see. Ideally on a high res retina / ipad screen a lot more should be visible. Is this too much to ask? What would be the phrase to search for in googling for this? Related to this, I find it difficult to visualise data with charts. I can understand it a lot better in audio. Isn't there a way to listen to the markets? I've googled and only found one cruddy java solution that's more of a curiosity than a solution. There's got to be something better than this. It's all a bit strange. I feel like I've missed something. |
