Hi guys, I already introduced myself at Donna's forum, but I identified Steve's board to be of equal quality and would also love to introduce us here as well. First of all I want to make clear that we are active traders and not a vendor selling anything beside offering a signal service. We started our forex ventures 3 years ago when we were looking for a strategy to hedge bear markets or weak spells in the stock market. We are trading big in US stocks trying to follow in the footsteps of Wykoff, Livermore, O'Neil and Kacher (Price&Volume technofundamental intermediate growth stocks) however that part of our trading is done privately. Automated trading does not require one to trade in isolation for obvious reasons which allows us to share what we do with the public. Three years ago we finally found a free expert advisor that we are using right now, it is rather a tool than a fire&forget EA and it took us 3 years to develop strategies that suit our method. The EA is called blessing3 and while we did not develop it we have to say that the setfiles (Our own developments) represent the actual trading method and not the EA itself. We are as transparent as it gets in this business and as being a stock trader well I have to say that retail forex is a jungle and I actually did not had much faith in finding a way to trade it profitably. However it turned out that we were able to develop a portfolio approach which is very similar to what we do in stocks. It is funny because our individual strategies are indeed based on averaging down hence violating all the golden trading rules that I would never touch trading the big board. But by building a risk managed portfolio we believe that we have developed an edge. There will be no sales pitch and we won't promise you anything we just share what we do in this business, our REAL portfolio. It is up to you to take a closer look and to decide if what we do is sound and if our method has an edge. We seek a rather small but loyal customer base of traders who believe in what we do. So it is up to you to think throught our method and decide for yourself if it is in accordance with your own risk allowance. This is the Portfolio I am talking about: Like I said above the individual strategies are based on a grid/average down principle. It is still strange that we trade a grid as this is something that I would never ever consider doing in my stock trading. However each of the 14 strategies that we have in our FX portfolio has a build in equity protection of 50%. This 50% translates to roughly ~10% loss for the portfolio. The monthly growth potential will be roughly 25 - 35%. In a nutshell: We employ high profit grid strategies and merge them together in an actively managed portfolio (currently: 14 strategies trading 9 pairs). We cut our losses short on each strategy which translates to a 10% portfolio loss. However none of the strategies that we use and backtested ever hit that stop loss over the last 3 years. The portfolio has a profit potential which allows it to recover from a stop loss in roughly 2 weeks. Of course we could end up experiencing more stop loss hits than we can handle. But we believe that we put all the odds in our favor. Now it is up to you to decide whether our method is sound and suits your trading mentality or not. Just browse our website and take a closer look... http://www.thweis.com |

I see you've joined our forum to promote your signal service...I wish you luck! However, good manners would dictate that you address your post to all members of our forum, both male and female...unless you foolishly believe that only men are members here or worthy of your service? |

Well, actually the word "Gents" is gender-neutral. It could refer to both gentleMEN and gentleWOMEN. |

Is this some slip of a gel speaking? Well, polish my monocle. Do we chaps let them in here? Does my use of the term 'guys' actually include 'guyesses' as well? Do we admit chapesses as well? Sorry Shelley. Couldn't resist. Thwels, you might care to familiarise yourself yourself with the culture here to avoid a similar gaffe in future. Not criticising; not threatening; merely suggesting. Gary, I cannot speak for the rest of the world, but here in the UK 'Gents' means males. Granted, it is mostly used to indicate a male urinal but the fact remains that it refers to males. No idea what it means in upside down land, although I dread to think what happens in a male urinal there............ |

In upside down land, it probably involves dodging the piss. |

Not sure what to make of this, I have waded through the website but unless I have missed something, no prices for this signal service? Transparency on pricing is paramount IMHO. |

Thanks macman. Thweis, macman is one of my most valued members and I always take notice of what he says. Your continued membership here hangs on how you respond to the non-joking criticisms voiced here. Capiche? And yes, this is me being threatening. |
