I guess some would have spent time learning to trade and in the process develop their own trading "style". They might then see how their time was spent in doing this and come across aspects of their trading, which could save a lot of time or repartition, if automated.
Others never learn to manually trade as such and look to code EA's to do everything. So all they do is turn the EA on and come back later to collect the money
Can be a bit of a holly grail and the EA's become very complicated. You could spend a week just learning what they do never mind coding them.Me, I can't do either, but I guess you need to give some idea of what you want your system to do.
