as you see this is my first post. I have been reading this forum for a month and the hard work I have seen here made me decided to learn MQL4 to test some crazy strategys I have in mind and eventually do some EAs to blow up accounts eficiently.
Im a chemical engineer student so I have some experience programing in C++ and mathlab lenguage. This said I have to admit something... I love spaghetti, and not only for lunch, I like the poker face that people make when they try to understand some spaghetti program Ive just made.
Well, thougth the spaghetti fetiche was a joke thats the isue here. If I want to contribuite in this forum and do some funtional EA for myself I need to learn MQL4 without bad habits.
So this is the very first program I have made whit this lenguaje. I will appreciate some advice about the code, optimization, structure, and anything usefull to build up my MQL4 programing skills without bad habits.
By de way, if you have not noticed yet Im not a english native so do not crucify me for the grammar
The program Ive made is and spread indicator. Shows the current spread, average spread of the sesion, max, min, and variation.
I want to add some extern file sistem to save spread data to calculate a historical average spread and maybe some average historical distribution spread along the day.
I have made it basically to compare brokers. I have been searching for a broker with low spreads for a scalping strategy I am making and my historical broker, alpari uk, have to much spread to make the scalping feasible.
