hi all, This question might not seem to directly link to Empty4 or forex trading, but i figure someone here would be able to help me with a solution. I am looking for (or wondering how to write) a program (could be in Java ?) that : 1. checks an email account (gmail, yahoo mail, hotmail etc) every 1 second(or possibly less) interval. 2. If there is a new email from a certain sender, extract certain contents from the email 3. then write the contents to a file. Would anyone be able to help with the above ? Or is Empty4 language able to poll an email account for new mails from certain senders ? That would be helpful towards the above too. Cheers |

hi, Perhaps i should be more precise about what i wish to achieve. Either : 1. Empty4 EA able to poll email account , read email contents and take trade etc. or 2. External program (Java. C ?) polls email account, read email contents, write to file "commands/data" for EA to take trades, close trade etc. Cheers |

outlook + (vba or powershell) --> write to file, would be the best way to go in terms of speed & reliability |
