Post subject:  Scalp the trend

Hi community,

inspired from this 3 threads:
http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=276813
http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=315572
http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=325018

I combined a few of the ideas.

INDICATORS
1) Semafor (repaints)
2) LWMA 25
3) CCI 15
4) SnakeForce
5) Cycle Identifer (repaints)

Rules LONG:
- Semafor On BOTTOM
- Candle Close ABOVE LWMA 25
- CCI 15 GREEN (>= 0)
- SnakeForce GREEN
- Cycle Spike On BOTTOM

Rules SHORT:
- Semafor On TOP
- Candle Close BELOW LWMA 25
- CCI 15 RED (<= 0)
- SnakeForce RED
- Cycle Spike On TOP

Pair: EUR/USD
Session: Frankfurt, London
TF = 5M
TP = +10pips
SL = -20pips
BE = +8pips (if you like...)
Risk = 2-5%

Only trade the first combination after Semafor!

The repainting isn't an issue, because it is based on price action, but you know all that ;)

I hope it's understandable. English is not my native language. :D

Cheers

I use similar system, but instead of LSMA alf with 2 TF-current and higher.For example if TF M15
alf1 TF M15,alf2 TF H1.Two alfs permit you enter a trade after sema indi shows high or low and alf current TF must be upper than alf higher Tf- for long.Results are good.
Best Regards.

Hi Dynel and thanks for sharing this.

In your opinion, what advantages does this method have compared with Invictus? I see you're using the same RR 2:1.

Update: Just made my first 10 pips! :D

Well done!
No advantages, other TF and other indicators. Only a "new" combination. In M5 you get more trading signals, but you can win or loss more! So caution here.

I want to add something...

All 3 trades were counter trends, so the risk was higher! If you have basics knowledge about price action you also took the signals without considering the semafor, because the trend was clearly up!

you see that this system give you a lot more great signals!

So with all signals you had:

signals: 6
wins: 6
loss: 0
= +60pips

nice weekend all
