I am taking the liberty of re-posting a portion of a post by Steve in another thread to ensure as many members as possible see this, as well as my response. I really hope the members of this forum take heed and step us in Steve's hour of need! I also ask for a little extra tolerance if Steve is a little 'more' short or sharp than usual...I'm sure once you read below you will understand the strain he is under!

Steve...this is a really difficult time for you and my heart breaks knowing just how awful your current situation is at this time and your worry about your wife.

To all members, this forum is Steve's creation, and he has provided and shared so much with us all, so I ask everyone and in particular our very talented coders if you can step up at this difficult time for Steve and take some of the load off him whilst he is needing to concentrate so much of his time trying to enable an even slightly positive outcome for his wife.

It is now time when all of us who have benefited so much from this forum give just a tiny little bit back! :good:

Oh shit. Steve, we've never met and probably never will but I really feel for your situation. I know we are around the same age - how would I feel going through what you are suffering? I can't bear to think.

I really, really wish I could do something to help. But all I can do is hope you both manage to get through this

Great idea Shelley ,

As Steve has a 45 minute drive everyday to go and see his wife , I am sure he is incurring a lot of expenses .

How about we all make a small donation to help him out in his hour of need ?

The effort Steve has put in over the years is priceless .

This is just a idea it is up to each of us to decide the best way to help.

You know I have been married 39 years in June and I have just a small feeling of what Steve could be going through if my wife suddenly was no longer healthy at my side. My life would be crap also. I know I will give something to help Steve out and I think others should also. Steve has been one of the most selfless people I have met and is always ready to give. I think its time we should give back and help our fellow trader. I know I would not be where I am today in the Forex world with out Steve.

Steve,

I am praying for your wife and you. I know how hard illness can be to deal with in a family both as an RN , a Cancer survivor and as the son of a mother who has end stage Alzheimer's disease. What you have done here in this forum is remarkable. You take what ever time you need to be with your wife. Others will step up. I know I have had to take breaks from thinking about trading to deal with my own health in recent years.

I won't say I understand your hardship, because I don't. I'm sorry to hear your wife is ill.
But my best wishes and prayer be with you and your family.
I hope she will be okay.
