I'm using Cowboy IBFX Australia Empty4 demo for charting/analysis only, my actual trading account is with Interactive Brokers. Looks like Cowboy IBFX is about to shut down Empty4 so I need a new Empty4 demo with a different broker, looking at Global Prime. Can someone give some tips on the easiest way to get up and running with the new demo Empty4. I know I can install Global Prime demo in a different directory and configure the way I want, but all my charts/indicators etc. are set up nicely, and I'd rather not have to re-install and reconfgure. Can I just download Global Prime's demo Empty4, extract terminal.exe and replace the Cowboy IBFX terminal.exe with the Global Prime terminal.exe. |

HI, Their Empty4 demo is still running,when are they going to shut down? Only need copy the new(global prime) whole config folder files into your old Empty4 config folder. |

Why not use the Portable mode? The terminal can also be launched in the so-called Portable mode (as in previous Empty4 4 builds). In that mode, the data is stored and recorded in the installation folder. To do this, use "/portable" key. For more convenience, you can create an additional terminal launch shortcut with the appropriate name on your desktop and add the key directly to the shortcut: Cheers  Tommaso |
