Post subject:  gap trend

Here a simple idea that I found from prorealtime user with some personnal adaptations, and results could be good on the pairs as EU, GU, UCAD…with higher TF like H4, H8, Daily.
Only an automation should permit to backtest and to show if results are so good. This is where I need your help to translate it !
Like the spirit of this strategy is to found the good move and to stay in for good profit, the lot size need to be consequent in comparison with the departure capital, SL should be small against very large TP.
Lot size : 1 lot (100 000) for a capital of 5000EUR.
SL: about 10 pips, it is positioned in order to limit the losses to 2% (100€) capital of departure (5000€).
TP: about 250 pips, it is positioned very removed manner in order to obtain the maximum of the winning positions to 50% (2500€) capital of departure.
Trailing STOP: about 20 pips of the more winning summit or 200€

1- For going long, we need an entry price according to an opening not again closed gap.
Condition 1-1 : If price minimum among open price or closed price of the bar in course > price maximum among open price and closed price of the preceding bar: one keeps the price maximum among open price and closed price of the preceding bar (BY).
Condition 1-2 : Buy only in bullish trend on a price in collection. So if closed of the bar in course > BY and if simple movable average (20) > simple movable average (20) preceding bar (mm> mm[1]).
Then Buy 1 lot to the limited price BY.
End of the trade : Go out of the position by SL, TP or TS, or to the market price when the simple movable average < simple movable average preceding bar (mm < mm[1]).

2- For going short
Condition 2-1 : If price maximum among open price or closed price of the bar in course < price minimum among open price and closed price of the preceding bar: one keeps the price minimum among open price and closed price of the preceding bar (SH).
Condition 2-2 : Sell only in bearish trend on a price in collection. So if closed of the bar in course < SH and if simple movable average (20) < simple movable average (20) preceding bar (mm < mm[1]).
Then Sell 1 lot to the limited price SH.
End of the trade : Go out of the position by SL, TP or TS, or to the market price when the simple movable average > simple movable average preceding bar (mm < mm[1]).
I hope I am sufficiently clear and that you find this strategy interesting to translate in Empty4 EA. It is working on prorealtime but I am not shure with results and it is not possible to make EA on this program.
While thanking you by advance, I stay open to give more explanations if you are interesting. Thank you for this very nice place.
