This indicator will show you the result of Moving Average, Stochastic, CCI, RSI, MACD over all timeframes. It also shows the overall trend for each timeframe on the bottom row. The score is calculated by the strength of each indicator for each timeframe. 0 = down 10 = neutral 20 = up Update: MTF Trendinator Timeline - see the trendintor trendinate over time. use on the M1 timeframe only - because higher timeframes will give inaccurate data for lower timeframes (eg. on M5 it squeezes 5x 1 minute data into 1 data point. ) |

thanks. i should probably explain a little bit about how i use it: i look at the short term trend VS long term trend, if the short term trend is going against the long term trend i would look for an entry when it might rejoin the long term trend. i mainly use it to get a general overview of what's happening. finding the correct entry is better suited to other indicators. |

Hello, very nice indicator. It gives a good idea about how a pair is moving. I was thinking about building an EA using this indicator, Do you think you could modify it to return values in buffers? If we could have the trend of a pair as a numeric value (using this indicator) we could probably use that value as a filter for other signals. Maybe it could return a value for the long term trend (for example telling us the long term trend is clearly UP) and another value for the short term trend (for example telling that the short term is DOWN) and that way we could enter and buy in a correction (for example). I think this indy could have potential for being used in EAs. What do you think? Best regards |

nice idea. i tried to code an ea for it but i didnt get very far. ill look into the buffer idea. so you want the score to be loaded into a buffer yes? |

oops i just realised i made a buffer version ages ago that shows the trendinations over time. so it has lots of buffers to play with. update in post 1. i will try to recode it to store the score values into the buffers so it can be called via iCustom. |

trendinator,great job! this indicator doesn't work in high resolution screen.I installed it into my surface pro 3 which resolution is 2160*1440,the display window isn't clear. Could you modify it so it can work in high resolution screen? Thanks |
