iZones iZones is an attempt to find Supply & Demand levels without the use of indicators. This is currently a work in progress. There are still some things I need to do AND there may be bugs. For now, it's an EA. I just find that easier to work with and one day it might change it this has any future. Are there any others like this? Here it is for a test, play around what it and let me know what you think. Supply and Demand Reading- these are the types of zones I'm looking for, not price pivots. Look through the thread to find the latest EA file. |

Thanks. The daily and H4 work well on the majors. I'm looking at using the higher timeframe, show the HTF with grey and the current in red/green. 3 strategies I may add to this once the code is solid - when you see zones that don't seem to hold, on the lower time frames, employ a scalping type strategy inside the zone. - A breakout - price penetrates zone - Higher time frames would use buy at demand, sell at support, target at least 3 to 1 as measured with the zone range. Once I get the code to work 100% with no bugs I'll throw in the strategies. Still working on it, stay tuned. |

What a great idea! If I put it on demo today it would breakeven.... there are no order functions yet  Making progress on this but I don't have the order functionality included yet. To make this even more difficult, it will be a multi-pair EA. It won't execute every tick, it will execute based on a timer, so every minute or 10 minutes or something. Attach to one chart and set the timer, it won't overload the platform this way. Takes time to code this though. |

v1.02 in 1st post. This will show more zones, look at the last input for the EA and switch it true or false. Mostly interested in comments at this point in time. what do ya think this is good for, see any strategies that catch your eye while playing with this? |

Multipair iZones (MiZ) EA See first post for first crack at an EA. Early version that just became functional. At the moment I'm not looking for profit loss, just making sure it fires off orders and does what it is supposed to do, more info at the bottom of first post. This is a multipair EA To select you pairs you can use the comma list or the airs that appear in the MarketView window. It will create pending orders for the zones. It will NOT work on back test - because it uses the OnTimer() to execute - this means it does not run at every tick, it runs every 300 seconds (configurable and hard coded). This reduces CPU because the zones don;t change often, plus zones need at least 20 bars to form. You might see a bunch of stuff in your experts tab. mostly debug stuff and general info. I'm running it on M15 to test functionality. If you want to help out, run it on H1 or H4 and see if it is profitable. There is a stop and target set. Break even is not implemented yet. My plan is to set the stops, targets and BE at a multiplier of the zone range. Target 6x (currently set at 3x for testing) BE at 2x Stop at other side of zone Note that some inputs are not exposed to the user yet. Also - I plan to load iZones, SSSR, and SupDem on a chart and see how similar / different the zones are. This would be interesting. |
