I am hoping that I can gain some assistance in solving a problem I have with this EA. I found it on a forum and the thread and development was quite active but the developer seems to have lost interest in the project. I have been testing it both backtest and live forward test and I find several strange issues with it.
The first is if for any reason you reset or change , reload the EA or restart the platform or sometimes even if there is a loss of data feed it wants to "forget" any opened trades and start new series each time even when trades are already opened.
The other problem is that it sometimes simply will not place trades when the indicator says it should. I also have the issue where it will not place trades on specific platforms (it worked for a while on Exness and then just stopped placing trades). When I run a backtest it behaves exactly as it should which makes me think that the issue is in the way the time is calculated perhaps.
I have tried to get it to work correctly but at this stage (I am an absolute novice) I just do not have the understanding or skills to solve the issues. I am learning by reading the code in other people's work and trying to understand that way but it is a slow process, the good part is I am getting better at reading the logic of the trade selection
in different EA's.I am hoping that one of the experienced coders here can assist me to get it operating and that way I can learn how to do it myself.
