This is a simple Expert Advisor for trading on EURUSD H1 market. The EA is attached below. Trading rules: Long Entry - wait for a bullish bar with body > 30 pips and Volume > 2.0 * Average volume from last 80 bars. Open long at next bar Open and close at the bar Close. Short Entry - wait for a bearish bar with body > 30 pips and Volume > 2.0 * Average volume from last 80 bars. Open short at next bar Open and close at the bar Close. Just set this off today.No trades yet. "Position Flat" its saying on the chart |

Same here, no trades and it has been on for a few days now. Only have it on the EURUSD 1 hour chart OOTB. Says "Position flat", also says "Is Long Entry Allowed" - "NO", same for short. Not sure if that is relevant, but def no trades yet at this demo, Cheers |

@sandybeach The same here for monday, have to confirm "no trades"  I run this bot with all the majors to any "reaction" ... but only flat and flat and flat ... so, may watch it a bit longer although ......... |

Reduce pips to 10 and volume "2" to 0.. you will get trades.. |

I see. But makes that sense ? Switching the volume from 2 to 0 means switching this filter off. On the other Hand this filter is a part of the strategy the EA is based on !  So switching all the filters off, sure we'll get "trades". But in this case: are these trades useful ? |

Ok - I lowered the volume from 2 to 1, the candle pip is now 15 instead of the default 30. And yes - EURJPY opened a trade ! :hi: |

Hi Popov ! So, are you here aroung from time to time ? I have these questions about the parameters in "F7": What is "Amount to close on reduction" ? "Amount to add on addition" ? (hmm is it for the martingale ?) What is "Ensure maximum Stop Loss" ? |
