Here is a little indicator that shows the current (local PC) time on an analog clock, and displays the selected trading session times that have been set with the 'tradingHours' parameter. It looks like this: Hope this is useful for someone. Edit: In this week's wrup Steve suggested that the TradeClock could be used to display Forex Market hours. Technically this was not the case as it was meant to display the trading times you want your EA to be trading (using the trade-filter if present in the EA settings). However, I altered the code (of TradeClock) slightly so that it can be configured to display the various Forex Market sessions. Trouble is that the market hours of different sessions overlap each other ... that's why I have created concentric circles within the clock to show which market is currently open: You can configure 5 different market sessions, with the parameters: Session#Name, Session#Hours and Session#Color (# represents the digits 1-5). The Hours is a comma-separated string of on (+) and off (-) times, in ascending order. Eg. if for your timezone, Sydney opens at 23:00 and closes the next day at 08:00, you would enter: "+0:00,-8:00,+23:00,-24:00". I hope this makes sense. The defaults of the session times have been set for GMT+10 (my timezone in Queensland), with both New York and Europe in their respective winter times (i.e. no DST active). Questions about the time will be deleted. Refer to forexmarkethours if you are unsure. For the market session functionality, download TradeClock2. Have fun. |

Very nice indeed. A couple of things would make it perfect for me. 1. Have an input parameter to take allow server or local time 2. Be able to have two clocks displayed at the same time side by side. Nevertheless, still an excellent tool and very handy indeed Cheers, John |

to correlate all markets or check the settings of any time related indicators or EAs, I have always used http://www.timeanddate.com set up a personal clock with the markets you wish to monitor, include Reykjavik as it is GMT all year long never again will daylights savings in any country ever confuse you again, good luck here is the weekly open at 5 pm New York |
