I am working on an multi-timeframe EA for about a year now. Within this EA I am using several indicators and one self-designed programm to determine 1-2-3 patterns. All of them are needed for different tasks (like RSI TMA SLOPE, some MAs, ADX, ATR and the awesome Support/Resistance indicator from this board).
Trading CFDs on a daily base does not perform so bad know - But going to the lower timeframes holds some trouble. A question I am currently struggling with:
Is it possible to limit the input bars (which are used to calculate an indicator) in a way, that only bars are included if the desired market is open?
One example: Only use the H1 bars between 08:00am and 05:00pm for the calculation of H1-EMA200 in GER30
