Hi,

Here is my private coded EA that I had programmed last week.

I think the EA can be improved quite substantially. Preliminary testing results show that..

THE EA DOES NOT LOOSE MONEY, BUT IT DOES NOT MAKE MONEY EITHER :smile:

Tested on various pairs and time frames, the best returns for 10yr period are 300% at most.

If anyone would like to optimize/add filter/modify/find best pairs, SHF has my permissions for use.

The basic logic
1: Trade the weekend gap.
2: Gap Up - Sell
Gap Down - Buy
why does this work?
Any panic or euphoria from news stories released Friday close price to Mondays open price has already been factored into market expectations by Monday opening. Therefore the price returns to Fridays closing price shortly after the market opens.
3: Use strict money management.
Minimize draw down to 5% per pair.
Compound earnings by using multiple pairs.
Favor low risk over high earning, use more pairs.
Shorten market exposure by using time based exits.

You should read here a bit more, more than you would know ,how we like here the back end-tester, it is absolutely wasting time..
Esp. using you basing strategy, as you have here no usable result to aspect.
Try you EA in forward testing, but do never before claim it will gain money..
Testing or worse to optimize an EA with the crappy back end tester is nothing else than bs,it will dreamer bring fast to reality.
Back end-tester can only be used to help with bug searching..
