please kindly help me code this indicator .... it is based on quarter theory principle that divides each 1000 pips range into 4 zones of 250 pips each then creat a 75pips hesitation line up and down of the each 250 pips line drawn earlier ... between 2, 75pips- line is divided by the half line as shown in the pics above ..

in summary ,

1000 pip range is divided into 250pips quarters
each 250 pip range is divided into 2 of 125 pip line = center line
each of the 250 pip line is guided be 75 pips line up and down.

You're going to have to put a bit more effort in than that if you want more help!!

- what's the issue?
- does it happen on all symbols?
- 5 or 4 digit broker?
- what error messages do you get?
- what have you tried already to fix it?

You can't expect me to fix a problem if you haven't told me what the problem is!

Thanks for your help , and i must say its been wonderful and amazing help...
yea regards the bug is noticed ... the line actually painted but a bit not at same price point
I tried to load on 4 and 5 digit broker and the result is close to perfect on 5 digit broker but far from perfect on the 4digit broker .

1) on 4 digit broker the major red line is showing as PRICE ASK LINE and move with price instead of being fixed

2) on the 5 digit broker , the hesistation line is 50pips up and down of the every 125pips center / half line

going by the picture attached , I identify the exert line with a line and made a brief discription of what i want, the indicator plotted the dotted lines as against the blue lines on the chart i posted.

a) I want the lines to print on chart with price indicated by side

b) I want the calculation to pick the exert number , as follows;

every 1000 pips range will be divided into 4 sections of 250pips each to form the LARRGE QUARTER POINT (LQP)

each 250pips range will be divided into 2 each of 125pips range to form the CENTER LINES/HALF LINES (HL)

then each of the CENTER/HALF LINES will be 2 lines each 50Pips up and 50pips down to it to form the HESITATION QUARTER POINT (HQP)

Above all , so far so good , i doff my hat for this excellent job...as I only have issues with the hesitation lines which is a big issue on the lower timeframe.... thanks a great deal sir....

version 1.1 attached.

This version has the following changes:

- converted to pips and factor using Tommaso's GetPipFactor (Thanks!) - This allows the use of 4 digit brokers for those that do!
- included the use of "MajorLineDecimal" to manually override the auto calculation of major line placement
- corrected the hesitation lines to +/-50pips rather than half way.

The original version was coded for 5 digit brokers only (and said so in the notes at the top of the code). This new version should work on all. I've also added a new input "MajorLineDecimal" which allows you to override the automatic calculation of the initial Major lines. This is because it's not always clear where the "major" line should go depending on the decimals and digits of the price. If the lines are not where you wanted them then play with this number between 1-10 until they are. Zero leaves it on automatic.

That should do it.
