Awesome Holy Graily Bob is the brainchild and creation of zaguy, alias Coenraad. He has hacked the code and replaced Flying Buddha's with HGI as the trade triggers. It is identical to Awesome in every other way. Download the Awesome user guide from http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 102&t=5232 and mentally transpose HGI for Flying Buddha.

You will find the HGI indi at the bottom of post 1 at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =88&t=3964 - download HGI_V16.09.ex4 and put it in your Indicators folder. Some time next week I will swap the indi for the hgi.lib library, but I will let you all know when I get around to it.

Hi guys,

I have uploaded version 2, with the following changes:

1) I have added an option to allow Rad trading (the small 45 degree angled arrows) or not on the HGI indi.
2) I have added Flying Buddha as an additional filter. There is an option to use or not (i.e. "UseFB). This is in addition to the other indis (namely Peaky and SuperSlope). If all 3 indis are used, it means a trade will only be taken if all 3 indis agree, as well as HGI as the trade trigger.
3) I have added a Ranging Filter. This filter ensures that there is sufficient movement on a currency pair. It will look back x number of candles and determine if there was a vertical movement of y pips over the x number of candles or not. If not - a trade for that currency pair will not trigger, eg. check the last 10 candles for the M5 period and determine whether there was at least a 15 pip vertical movement. If not, no trade will trigger.

I have not yet demo traded this version, so there might be teething problems. Please test and let me know if any problems crop up.

Is the same code as the most recent Awesome 1g or the prior? I will put this up on a vps today for testing. I also have some ideas using semaphore as entries. I will make a new thread if I can get it to work.

Hello Steve and Coenraad,
Glad you added HGI to Awesome. I tried experimenting with HGBnDnSuperslope to use HGI for entry but couldn't make it work. This is very handy cause there is no need to have many charts open. My understanding is that HGI indi is better trade trigger then Flying Budhha. Hope next week will confirm this.

I wonder if it's not a mitake I've found here (I'm not a pro with Empty4) but it seems wrong:

To call buffer 2 it should be 2 instead of 0 on line 3825 ..... but maybe the comment is wrong and it's buffer 0 which holds blue up arrow....

BTW I'm interested to know exactly for each of the 8 buffers of HGI which one refers to any item

It is actually "//Buffer 2 holds blue up arrow" that is incorrect and should rather read "//Buffer 0 holds blue up arrow".

Hi Leon,

There is a problem that I am trying to sort out. If you use the EA across all TFs, some immediate marketorder trades are taken (say for the M5 and M15 TFs) at the same time and price. Will post an updated version as soon as a fix is available.

zaguy, Fantastic idea - Ive been attempting to filter our "bad" Buddahas aswell I was going down the road of Semafor but HGI does the trick, probably better....Cant wait until the multi TF issue has been resolved. Great Work.
