HGB's Candle Power multi-pair combined trader and dashboard

EA's inspired by nanningbob's work here, especially those based on his 240 Moving Average trend detection filter.

HGB's Candle Power multi-pair combined trader and dashboard

Hey guys, now I have taken the plunge and paid for Eaymon's fantastic Power VPS (http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 103&t=5282) I am able to run the EA's I have been producing.

I have this one set up on the usual $300 demo in the hope that this is one that can be set loose by the noobs and they can watch the profit grow slowly.

I have it set to close the entire position as a basket at +$10. It has made just shy of $45 today. I could live with 15% a day. :xm:

Nothing can keep on being profitable like that, so the bot will slow down. It might be worth scaling my basket take profit out to suit the size of your demo, just to see what happens. Just remember to download the fixed version if you are basket trading.

Read the effing manual, ok?

Afterprime is the official SHF broker. Read about them at https://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=175790#p175790.

I still suffer from OCCD. Good thing, really.

Anyone here feeling generous? My paypal account is always in the market for a tiny donation. [email protected] is the account.

This EA has also been an outstanding performer for me (with some sensible intervention). I hope it won't be forgotten as shiny new toys emerge. I am trading on a small live account, averaging 1.5% per day.

Stumping up for Eaymon's Power VPS (http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 50#p156450) meant that I could return to a longer-term test of this bot.

I am on a search for EA's that can be left to their own devices on a tiny starter account, so this one started with $300:
HGB CP.png
This is a Global Prime (http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =52&t=1394 and http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... =52&t=1475) demo, so the results are as close to being realistic as possible. GP's demo and live feeds are the same, so the only difference will be the perfect speed at which demo trades are handled by the server.

How's it going after another month?

It's not. I eventually - and I can be a bit slow - realised that I could largely replace my manual interventions with the functionality already built into Slopey Crossy Bob. I switched over to that so that it could run almost unattended on my VPS.

Now SCB has been running on my main live account since 13 Feb., gaining 6.6% at last week's close with largest DD 3.1%. No trade closures so far this week, current UPL -13 pips. See report here:-

I have dated V 1m in post 1. There is no change to the trading functions; it has the code required to allow us to send our results to the SHF tester database. I have not changed the version number.

Set WriteFileForTestDatabase to 'true', then follow Thomas' instructions at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... 44#p159644

Hi

I had this in the journal this morning:

2018.05.10 05:01:30.835 '2111750': deleting of pending order #102538409 buy stop 0.01 GBPJPY at 148.623 sl: 0.000 tp: 0.000 failed [Invalid parameters]

I consulted Mr Google and looked at the code, but nothing leapt out to this coding novice.

- I restarted the EA - issue remains.
- Tried manually deleting the pending order, the pending order remains but the 'x' has disappeared. It comes back with the invalid parameters message again.

Thoughts?
