Stuck with anything? Ask your really basic questions here first rather than in Bob's thread. If someone here can provide an answer, then it saves TIB from having to answer.

Nothing is too basic guys. Ask your questions with confidence that you will not receive a flaming.

Whether anyone can answer is another matter - we are all learning this at the same time. Those of us who have been around a while and understand Bob's mind-set will be quicker at grasping the essentials, so someone should be able to help.

I'm going to join you in learning the NB 10.2. I will start this weekend with the required reading. I'm just sort of burnt out from reading so many "systems" that have long pdf, and cannot really make any money off of it. But I will give this a shot, and do a good read and come back to post.

The pdf's only look like a long read. They are long because there are loads of chart pics illustrating how it all works. Start with the indi booklets and make sure you understand what they are telling you before tackling the system book; once you understand the indi's, the system is a doddle to grasp.

It really is worth the effort. I tried to get to grips with a couple of Bob's earlier methods but found them difficult to assimilate - probably because I was late to the party and hadn't followed their development.

However 10.2 is different and clicked straightaway (at least for me). I've always struggled with higher time frame trading for some reason but NB's method provides a logical framework to trade around. It's a brilliantly thought out strategy. Although it seems like there are indicators galore, they are basically used to interpret price action in a visual way. Entries and exits can be rule-based or discretionary.

If you need more encouragement, my demo made 265 pips today, just trading 7 of the 9 low volatility (Group1 & 2) pairs (NZD/CAD not offered by my broker, EUR/CHF pointless). :D

Lovely post SWG. It strikes so many chords in my um, chord thingy.

I have never previously made even a temporary success of Bob's stuff - and that is despite having coded several EA's to trade it. I have always recognised that this is my failure.

I think this time around the difference is, I 'get it'. 10.2 made instant sense in a way that previous versions did not. Perhaps I am finally starting to mature as a trader. It has been a bloody long haul.

I made a few hundred pips today as well. Lovely to see those numbers metaphorically turning green, isn't it?

Thanks Steve & Astral for letting us know about Bob's latest development...

Just playing the 4H chart at the moment and purely taking trades that are over 0.8
I am using mptm to close all trades at 400 pips basket

Day 1 I banked +441 pips and last night another +441 pips just following the trend :lol:

Still need to have a look at the other types of trades within the system yet.

Not entirely sure you do. Just take 400 or so pips a day and retire in a couple of years. :lol:

The most encouraging part of all this is the time Bob takes to prepare his systems. He did not invent 10.2 yesterday; it is the next step in his 6 year journey. That is powerful.

Hi Steve
I'm glad I joined your website a few weeks ago and opted for your email alerts otherwise I would probably have never heard about Nanningbob 10.2. I downloaded everything last weekend, read the booklets over & over again, applied the indicators etc. to my, dare I say it, broker's Empty4 platform and believe I am now ready to go....albeit cautiously. My gosh what an undertaking it has been, not only by NB but yourself and the other contributors I have read of, and, if posts by those such as fxozgirl are anthing to go by, there will be a lot of happy smiling fx traders out there.
I have no specific questions at this stage - just wanted to say thanks and share my appreciation. I'm sure I'll have something to ask by this time next week.
