Until now I have been just a watcher, but I am learning to code and think this is a way to speed up the process and hopefully also contribute a little. Based on "RSI Cross TD V2" by tomele I have coded the following indicators. RSI MA TD V2 pg_v1 (almost the same as RSI 2MA TD V2 pg_v1 based on STOCH7) (RSI MA pg_v1 is the chartable version so you can check the signals) RSI TD V2 pg_v1 based on iRSI CCI TD V2 pg_v1 based on iCCI MACD TD V2 pg_v1 based on iMACD 2MA Cross TD V2 pg_v1 based on iMA UPDATE 2018-10-03 ADX TD V2 pg_v2 (new corrected version) DMI TD V2 pg_v2 (same as ADX TD V2 pg_v2 but uses only DMI signals) CCI TD V2 pg_v2 (now show FLAT in dashboard) RSI TD V2 pg_v2 (now show FLAT in dashboard) UPDATE 2018-10-04 FB TD V2 pg_v1 (Flying Buddha clone) ADX TD V2 pg_v3 (now show FLAT in dashboard) (All indicators now have history with copyrights hopefully correct. Hi Ben, Thank much for your great contribution. I've just try to apply your ADX indicator, I'm newbie, so just need your advice for the color of histogram, as i see Green now is Sell and Red is Buy. I'm not sure it is that or just reversal in the program. Thanks much. |

Hi davidle, Thank you for giving attention to the ADX. ADX is not a BUY/SELL indicator on its own. So I think I will have to include the DMI for it to work as a BUY/SELL indicator and I will come back with a new version asap. Thank you for your feed back! |

Hi @all, I've been a member of SHF for several years quietly popping in to the forum, this is my first post and I look forward to becoming an active member. I'm a part time trader still in my apprenticeship trading a small live account which has been blown several times and goes up as regularly as it goes down. In a previous life I was a mainframe programmer, what I enjoy about Forex Trading is seeking that edge, finding a system with higher probability of winning and tweaking indicators, just for clarity I'm still seeking that edge. I keep a manual Excel dashboard of the pairs I trade keeping track of strong and weak pairs, if they have reached a trading zone (Support or Resistance) across timeframes and their Peak Hi Lo, as well as comments for the pair. When Thomas released TDesk I saw this as great opportunity not only to use it for signals but to replace my Excel dashboard. I have attached the modified indicators I use for my trading system. I take no credit for any of these indicators, my trading system is based on what other people have learnt and applied and have been willing to share with the Forex community, just like the great people here on SHF. My trading system is based on Weekly Pivot Point Trading from Davits thread on ForexFactory and HGI here on SHF. How the System Works As price action moves progressively away from the Weekly Pivot it moves towards the next pivot points, as these points are reached they act as Trading Zones (support and resistance) where price is more likely to change and move back towards the weekly pivot. Once in the Trading Zone I use fundamental and technical analysis to provide a trade entry point with a higher probability of winning. Fundamental analysis and news events help under understand why the price has moved to the Trading Zone and what it may do once it is there Technical analysis through indicators help identify higher probability trade entry points - Trading Zone indicators identify a S/R lines where price action has a high probability of a swing - Trade Trigger indicators provide confirmation of swing and trade set-up opportunities - Trend indicators help us understand if the price action is moving in the same direction or likely to swing I use a combination of indicators to identify Trading Zones, Trade Triggers and Price Action moves, here are the indicators I have modified for TDesk and my trading dashboard. TDesk Trading Button Bias This is the one indicator I have written which I use on TDesk to show my trading bias for the pair. This indicator appears as button on the top right corner of a chart and toggles through the TDesk signal options LONG, SHORT, FLAT and no signal. I use the indicator to identify which direction I want to trade a pair, I mainly use it to identify what I believe will be the strong and weak pairs for the week or day ahead. It also acts a failsafe signal ensuring a 100% signal before I Trade. Currency meter CCYPAIR TD (Strong Weak Pair) I have modified this indicator to show the currency pair strength for the pair on the top left of the chart. I use this to only trade a currency if it is strong or weak and the same direction as my trading bias. Signals Strong - signal=LONG (Should only BUY) Weak - signal=SHORT (Should only SELL) Pivot_Voty TD (Trading Zone) I use this indicator for weekly pivots as price reaches a Pivot Point a TDesk signal is sent: Signals Below WP towards Support Pivot Points - Signal=LONG (should only BUY) Above WP towards Resistance Pivot Points - Signal=SHORT (should only SELL) Between the WP and S38/R38 a signal for P-00 will be LONG or SHORT. TDesk High Low Channel (Trading Zone) When price reaches the High or Low channel there is a higher probability it will change direction. Signals Low Channel Reached - Signal=LONG (Should only BUY) High Channel Reached - Signal=SHORT (Should only SELL) The signal stays active until price has reached the opposite signal. This signal is based on the indicator Renko Super-Signals_v3 double, which you will need to show the high and low channels. My coding skills are still developing and when I added TDesk to this indicator the channels stopped drawing on the chart. Maybe someone here will be able to fix this. SS_SupportResistance_V07 TD (Trading Zone) I have modified Andrew's indicator to send a signal to TDesk when a S/R zone is reached. Signals Support Zone reached - Signal=LONG (Should only BUY) Resistance Zone reached- Signal=SHORT (Should only SELL) No zone delete the signal TMS_Angleator V3 - RT TD (Trade Trigger) In combination with TDI-RT-Clone TD it shows the price action across all timeframes, if RSI has crossed the trade signal and the degree of separation. When price has reached a Trading Zone we can monitor price action across all TF's. Signals For all TF's M5, M30, H1, H4, D1 Green Arrow Up - signal=LONG (Should only BUY) Green Arrow at 2pm - signal=LONG (Should only BUY) Red Arrow Down - signal=SHORT (Should only SELL) Red Arrow at 4pm - signal=SHORT (Should only SELL) Yellow Arrow - signal=FLAT RSI Cross Over (from TDI-RT-Clone TD) RSI crossed over trade - signal=LONG (Should only BUY) RSI crossed under trade - signal=SHOT (Should only SELL) RSI Separation (from TDI-RT-Clone TD) "I think there is a bug in this signal which I'm investigating" Good Up - signal=LONG (Should only BUY) Good Down = signal=SHORT (Should only SELL) TDI-RT-Clone TD (Trade Trigger) I have added TDesk code but no signals are sent. This indicator is required for TMS_Angleator V3- RT TD and your chart. MTF HGI Bars Original TD (Trend) This is a modified version of the original MTF HGI Bars indicator Thomas released in Nov-17. This indicator has the following modifications: 1. Shows HGI signals instead of colours 2. HGI Golden Arrow signal if Blue Wavy and Trend signal on the same candle 3. Only send a Blue Wavy signal 4. Choose which timeframe to send signals for Please be careful if you use these indicators and any feedback will be welcomed. I just want to acknowledge the great work that Thomas is doing on TDesk for us all, as well as Steve, Tommaso, Bob and Leon. I follow all your posts with interest and admiration. Tim Update 04-1018 I have removed the "MTF HGI Bars Original TD" because of some bugs and the latest version by Thomas should be used. Update 03-10-18 SS_SupportResistance_v07 TD - Changed variable "zone_show_alerts = true" to trigger TDesk signal MTF HGI Bars Original TD - OnlySendBlueWavy test was incorrect, now fixed Edit - Had a request for a screen shot, my intentions was not to discuss the system here just share the indicators. |
