You need the "SPB core library.mqh" file in your platform's Include folder. Download it from viewtopic.php?p=159559#p159559


This EA enters buy trades following a swing low and sells after a swing high. It uses the Slopey Peaky Bob engine found at viewtopic.php?p=159559#p159559. Read SPB's User guide for information about everything apart from this trade trigger.

Pippy is different to Swingy in that he calculate the average points per swing over the previous 100 swings. He trades only if the previous swing hilo was >= the average. He runs the averaging calculation function at the open of your broker's D1 candle. Pippy uses a Mean averaging technique; I bit of a blunt instrument I know, but I am hoping that calculating over 100 swings will help iron out the effect of the occasional massive candle.

Did some testing this week and even took away the SS and PK all together, but still no trades.
Does the average 100 swings stop it from taking any trades at all maybe?

I am adapting Pippy to a version of SPB that uses the Volumes indi as part of the trade trigger. I noticed a coding bloop that must surely stop the possibility of any trades. I have fixed this in post 1.

DIYers, do a search for:
if (!UsePeaky || peakyStatus[pairIndex] == peakyshorttradable)

Even those of you with only a rudimentary understanding of coding will see instantly that there is a line of code missing, so the block is not closed and chaos ensues. Add this directly underneath:

I am wondering if I have done something similar in the HGI version. My H1 demo has taken few trades; my H4 version none at all. I will have a look later.
