Would it be possible to code an indicator which visually represents the size of the spread on the chart? I was thinking maybe 2 horizontal lines where the user can drag the bottom one and the top one follows by the distance of the spread. I am currently trading off very low time frames using limit orders but I want to be excuted or stopped out on the bid price. I am thinking I could use this to mark where my entry / stop would be but use the upper line for where the actual order goes. I understand that it won't be perfect as spread is constantly changing but it would be close enough. Is this doable / easy / hard? Thanks Guys. |

Chart properties -> Show Ask Line. The bid is always shown. |

Thanks yes I know about that but it only displays the ask price at the current candle. What I need to be able to see where my limit entry needs to be to get trigger in at the bid price. Here is an example trade. https://www.tradingview.com/x/XfJ5OnaK/ Limit order at the top of the blue box and stop below. If the spread was 1 for exmaple I would drag the indicator to where my entry is and it would show I need it 1 pip higher to be trigger in.
