Some of us might have end-up putting two (or more) indicators in one separate indicator window (both in Empty4 and MT5) either accidentely or on purpose (as a result of visual strategy development).
You usually end up having repainting effect as you scroll the chart back and forth.
In Empty4 there is little you can do - you can adjust scale of one or more indicators manually by changing scale in 'Common' Tab.
In MT5 makes your life easier - You not only get separate "Scale' tab in Indi's Properties window where we have two options : you can either use absolute values or 'Scale by line' . You also can set % of absolute values. Now you can fix relation of indicators, get rid of repainting effect and make some sense from two (or more) indicators overlapping
But it gets better .
Instead of going to proprties and entering scale params dozen of times manually in properties tab you just need to do it once ticking Scale by Time. Now after going back to chart, you will see a small greyed triangle on your right hand scale you can move up and down adjustin position of the seleceted indicator .
Ain't that cool !?
