Post subject:  Currency Movement Discussions
Hi,

Can anyone recommend a site or forum that has intelligent discussion on currency moves, events or other related information. I often see currency movements that I can't see a driver for (I know that often there isn't a specific driver) and am looking for some debate or discussion around these events.

My limited understanding of this is that large movements are driven by:
  • 1) News events such as NFA.
    2) Central Bank intervention such as BOJ deciding the Yen is too strong/weak.
    3) Pending trades set by the big banks triggering.
The above can cause vast movements within minutes.

There are not likely to be extended-life forums about the above because these events are not of themselves extended. They simply happen. This statement comes with a strong Steve warning: I might be wrong - the extended life bit, I mean. 'They simply happen' is a no-brainer.
