Post subject:  Multiply TakeProfit after a loss

I'm trying to multiply the takeprofit every trade after a loss. Someone can help me?

I do not know If this does might work

The idea would be more or less this

10 10 1//1 5000% 5000%
10 20 1//2 6667% 3333%
10 30 1//3 7500% 2500%
10 40 1//4 8000% 2000%
10 50 1//5 8333% 1667%
10 60 1//6 8571% 1429%
10 70 1//7 8750% 1250%
10 80 1//8 8889% 1111%
10 90 1//9 9000% 1000%
10 100 1//10 9091% 909%
10 110 1//11 9167% 833%
10 120 1//12 9231% 769%
10 130 1//13 9286% 714%
10 140 1//14 9333% 667%
10 150 1//15 9375% 625%
10 160 1//16 9412% 588%
10 170 1//17 9444% 556%
10 180 1//18 9474% 526%
10 190 1//19 9500% 500%
10 200 1//20 9524% 476%
200 95% 5%

The likelihood ratio would in theory 95% of winning a trade in twenty trades.

Does anyone have the code how I do that?

I have attached the EA "Awesome auto trading robot by Steve Hopwood"

Do not know why with an TP greater than the SL martingale does not work

For those who does not know how he negotiates attached a pdf.

Basically it uses hedging (does not use if the SL is the same as the TP) and multiplying by three martingale it works if you buy / sell a 5 sec before a news plus it must move at least some 60 pips once using the default EA SL: 60 TP: 30.

I'm to about 5 days trying to do that in this and in other EAs Also, please pity me help me out.

Order for no one not get me wrong.

My Intent when I created this topic was not to use martingale.

My intention and multiply takeprofit to recover losses.

thanks

I haven't read through your PDF yet, but: before you dive too deeply into Martingales, you might want to look at the discussion at http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... ?f=5&t=547

Thanks for responding Garyfritz.

Yes I've read all of it.

If someone gives me a light on how I can do that I will try to add to EA I am very new in mq4 I know very little.

Ah. So instead of increasing your position size, you're increasing your TP. My mistake.

That might not work very well. Many/most systems don't necessarily respond to larger TPs by producing more profits. You will probably find that your win % drops considerably when you increase your TP. Trades that would have been small wins, turn into losses.

garyfritz as you can see above the probability without using some indicator and of 95% chance of 19 trades you miss and hit one, and for this system to work we need only one hit in 20 trade

And until level 20 would be at our maximum risk would be $ 200 2% over an account of 10,000 starting with 0.1 lot

We we exchanged the risk of multiplying the lot, for a lower probability of success Raising the takeprofit.

Now if we wanted to slightly increase the risk and increase the likelihood we can use.

Level StopLoss TakeProfit Lot Win Loss
L1 10 50 0,1 50 10
L2 10 50 0,1 40 20
L3 10 50 0,1 30 30
L4 10 50 0,1 20 40
L5 10 50 0,1 10 50
L6 10 50 0,12 10 62
L7 10 50 0,144 10 76,4
L8 10 50 0,173 10,1 93,7
L9 10 50 0,208 10,3 114,5
L10 10 50 0,249 10 139,4
L11 10 50 0,299 10,1 169,3
L12 10 50 0,359 10,2 205,2
L13 10 50 0,431 10,3 248,3
L14 10 50 0,517 10,2 300
L15 10 50 0,62 10 362
L16 10 50 0,744 10 436,4
L17 10 50 0,893 10,1 525,7
L18 10 50 1,072 10,3 632,9
L19 10 50 1,286 10,1 761,5
L20 10 50 1,543 10 915,8
L21 10 50 1,852 10,2 1101
L22 10 50 2,222 10 1323,2
L23 10 50 2,667 10,3 1589,9
L24 10 50 3,2 10,1 1909,9
TL20 2900% 7100% 9,158
TL24 2983% 7017% 19,099

I have attached the spreadsheet martingale of this topic by using the calculations done here http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... ?f=5&t=547 "Multiply TakeProfit + Martingale (+ Probability Risk)" I created a new worksheet "Takeprofit + martingale " you can see Level, StopLoss, TakeProfit, Lot, Win, Loss equals up.

garyfritz to our hit rate and 17% that would be 1.7 out of ten trades as we are calculating in 20 trades would be a 3.4 in every twenty trades.

20 trades / 100% = 5% each trader

Trades 3.4 X 5% = 17%

Our hit rate would be

Trades 2.4 X 5% + 17% = 29% / / this without using any indicator

And until level 20 would be in the our maximum risk that would be $ 915.8 10% on top of an account of 10,000 starting with 0.1 lot

Until level 24 in arriscarimos 20%. Hitrate 29,83%

To go beyond the 24 level would have to start with a lot less than 0.1

I think with the certain indicator this retrieval system could work

More niguém helped me so far in the code.

1 - One code multiply the TP when losing, and successively until, win or get to the Last Known level.

2 - One code so I can choose the level of the lot martingale and not multiply as the padão

3 - How do I edit the code excel I wanted to increase the levels martingale, and test multiplying takeprofit
