Background
A while ago I started developing a multi symbol Shell EA to use as a starting point for other EA's. As every coder will know a Shell EA cannot be tested without any logic to look for possible trades. So I coded the NB10.2 and NB10.2a logic into the EA. Later NB10.2 CTS was added. As I am very pleased with the result I wouldn't dare to withhold this EA from you. So here is 'MultiBob'.

Quickstart
Drop MultiBob on a chart with a high volume symbol, preferably EURUSD. Use any timeframe, MultiBob trades its own timeframes anyway. Use standard settings for NB10.2 trading. Set 'tradeNB10.2' to false and 'tradeNB10.2a' to true to trade NB10.2a. (Or set them both to true if you are feeling adventurous.) Setting 'tradeNB10.2CTS' does not do anything for now, the CTS settings are to display information only.

Play with the display settings to show the variables you like. Please remove MultiBob from your chart and drop it again when changing user settings. Play safe.

Stoploss, Takeprofit
When 'stopLossPips' and 'takeProfitPips' are set to 0 MultiBob wil determine stoploss and takeprofit according to NB 10.2(a) rules.

MultiBob considers a multitude of variables, most of which can be displayed on screen by enabling user inputs. Above are a few examples.

Milestones
  • v1.0.0 - Initial release
  • v1.1.4 - Introduced new trading hours system, improved interface
  • v1.2.12 - Introduced NB10.2aCTS, indicator edition
Inputs
Most user inputs are well known user inputs as they are used by a lot of EA's on this forum. Some other inputs are typical for the NanningBob 10.2 and 10.2a system. These inputs are not described here.
  • autoSymbols - set to true to trade all the symbols visible in the Market Watch window, overrules symbolsToTrade
  • symbolsToTrade - comma delimited list of symbols to trade
  • autoSuffix - set to false when you want to provide symbol suffixes in symbolsToTrade yourself. Do not use suffixes in symbolsToTrade when set to true, MultiBob will add suffix on current chart to all symbols in symbolsToTrade
  • sortSymbolNames - sort the symbol names alphabetically when set to true
  • addSundayToMonday - add Sunday candles to Monday candles if necessary
  • stopTrading - set to true to stop trading, turns MultiBob into an indicator
  • maxSpread - maximum spread in pips
  • pipFactor100 - comma delimited list of (parts of) symbol names that have a 100 pip factor
  • pipFactor10 - comma delimited list of (parts of) symbol names that have a 10 pip factor
  • pipFactor1 - comma delimited list of (parts of) symbol names that have a 1 pip factor
  • lot - lots to trade
  • riskPercent - calculates the lots to trade using this percentage on the exposure of the trade, overrules 'lot'
  • magicString - MultiBob generates its own magic nubers, use this *string* to differentiate multiple active MultiBobs.
  • tradeNB10.2 - set to true to trade the NanningBob 10.2 system, this is the master switch for all inputs in the NB10.2 section
  • tradeNB10.2a - set to true to trade the NanningBob 10.2a system, this is the master switch for all inputs in the NB10.2a section
  • tradeNB10.2aCTS - future use.
  • tradingHours - a comma delimited list of start and stop times for trading. Prefix start times with '+', stop times with '-', use 24H format with a decimal point between hours and minutes. Example 1: '+7.00,-9.30,+13.30,-15.00', example 2: '-4.00,+9.00,-10.30,+23.00'.
  • useTextOnly - use only text in display grid, otherwise use graphic symbols
  • colorNeutral, colorPosOrLong, colorNegOrShort - colors for symbols in display grid
  • gridLineCount - number of lines in grid between each separator lines, set to 0 to disable separator lines
  • showSomeVariable - show or hide the variable on screen, order of the variables is the order of the list of inputs
Finally
Please test MultiBob and report any issues. I will try to resolve bugs (if any) first and provide extra functions later.

i've had good results from all 3 Al3xx's versions to the pip setups, also from 10.2a.

I'm not sure if this is the crim and how they project the market info for the metals, but i dont get those annoying 130 errors anymore when i use similar pip values as i do for the, lets say the eurusd. i have no reason to expect any different from your ea here.

Are you okay with the limited symbols, or would you prefer i show all. I have set the ea to trade all and in both 'modes.'
i'm going to remove the dollar index, as i can monitor that from another terminal and let MultiBob flex his muscles across the stock shares too?

Since its a different name other than mentioned ones in EA as XAU and XAG it took the default 10000 value [Correct factor for most pairs].
Since his Crim is using the Metal name as GOLD i think he has to change the code name for gold in EA

This is what pip factor looks like on gold and silver on market.com criminal.
here i have issues when using an ea to trade the metals, with the same values as i do on my other criminal , avafx.
i'm going to try running on both criminals, except i'm taking off the indexes and sticking to the normal forex pairs on this criminal.
