I combined 10.2a with 10.3 on page 42 my 10.3 thread. That is where I will be. Information here though will help you understand the 10.2a part better. http://www.stevehopwoodforex.com/phpBB3 ... f=38&t=919 I wanted a place where I could send people to get 10.2a. Of all the variations of 10.0 systems this one is the simplest and easiest to understand. Yet it is dynamically positive in trading. There are 3 lines, the monthly pivot, weekly pivot, and the daily pivot. If the weekly is below the monthly then sell when it crosses the daily pivot. If the weekly is above the monthly pivot then buy when it crosses the daily pivot. If the daily pivot is between the weekly and monthly the market is ranging and you can trade accordingly knowing your profits will be quick and small. If the daily pivot is below/above both weekly and monthly pivot then you have a running trend and you can stay with the trade longer. Because the daily pivot resets every day you can usually find a re-tracement that goes behind it so you can have a reentry point to reenter the trend every day. Since the pivot lines are the same on every TF you can trade any TF you are comfortable with. SL areas are the previous swing high or low, weekly S/R lines OR the weekly pivot line 5-10 pips behind the line. Use the one tightest or the one that gives you the most space depending on the type of trader you are. There are only two indicators the TMA slope and the DWM pivot. I would like to post the most updated versions of these indicators but I honestly am lost in my own threads about my system. I also would like to give proper credit to the individuals who made them if you can help me with that I would very much appreciate it TP levels are the next weekly S/R line. DWM Pivot indicator (created by Baluda) #property copyright "Copyright 2012, Deltabron - Paul Geirnaerdt" #property link "http://www.deltabron.nl" draws the 3 pivot lines on the screen. It eliminates the Sunday bar line that some brokers have and the Saturday bar line that other brokers have. This should keep everyones lines approximately in the same area to trade from. In other words we will all be speaking the same language when we trade. (GOD I HOPE SO) The TMA Slope indicator is also included. #property copyright "Copyright © 2012, zznbrm" //Edited by shahrooz "sh.sadeghi.me@gmail.com" //Edited by Nanningbob April 2012 for 10.2 I wish to say upfront that the purpose of this indicator is to give you an idea of the strength of the move. Will it continue or is it short lived?? That is the only thing I use it for. I was somewhat dismayed at how much importance has been placed on it but that is all I want to use it for. That does not mean it doesnt have other uses it just means within this system 10.2a that is what it is for. The .02 line is an approximation of where price breaks out from its previous high/low position. This is important to know in a ranging market. It is not always accurate but it gives you a better chance of knowing this may be the moment. .05 line is this trade has legs so ride it out a while. Give it a chance and let your winner's run. When the bars turn darker color it may indicate the run is over but not all the time. I have given up trying to figure out which is which other than to take a chance on reentering when it dips behind the daily pivot. There are only two indicators and I doubt they are the most updated versions. The DWP sets the daily pivot, weekly pivot and monthly pivots on your screen. I wait for price to go behind the daily pivot and then set a pending trade just past the daily pivot line. Let the trade set and then determine if you want to profit quickly or let it ride. If the TMA slop is above the .02 line I realize one S/R line is probably all I will get. If above the .05 line then I can profit 1/2 at the first line and TP at the second OR keep the trade until the bar color changes on the TMA slope. The TMA slope is only used to determine whether the move is a strong move or weak move. I do not use it to determine entrances that is sole determined by the pivot lines. Put the template in your Empty4 templates folder and the two indicators in your indicators folder. That is it. Run the template and you are ready to go. I expect this to be my crowning achievement to the Forex world. I dont know how I can make trading simpler, or easier to understand than 10.2a. It is the culmination of everything I know about trading. I hope you enjoy the simplicity, accuracy, and profitability of the system. If you find my system helpful please make a donation to and help some child with their education: http://www.compassion.com/ I also have enjoyed all the letters through the years of traders who made money and gave to some charity. It makes all the time and work worth it to me. Nanninbob Oct. 1 2012 Steve thank you so much for your support and encouragement. I wish you well my friend. UPDATE Oct. 7 2012 This folder has the info page. Pic below. I put this page on a currency pair I do not trade. For example I dont trade the eur/chf right now because of all the interference by the SNB. So I use this currency chart for trade info. Both of the slope strength indis are from Baluda's page and probably are not the most update ones but i am happy with them. The 3 windows on the chart are as follows: #1. Gives info for the slope strength of each currency and compares them from a daily chart. #2. Your open trades 'iexposure' and where they are sitting in profit or loss. #3. Currency slope strength using line visuals, this one will change based on the TF you put these charts on. I usually use the 4H but if you switch to 1H it will show you the strength by the 1H chart. The #1 indi. window is always set on daily chart strength and wont change from TF to TF. My template for #3 is set with the currencies I trade with. If you dont trade the same 26 currencies you need to turn from false to true 'auto symbols' for the indicator to read all your currencies pairs in your market watch windows OR go into the program and edit which currencies you want the indicator to use. If you want more info about the indicators go visit Baluda's thread to get all the info on how to use them. |

Bob: I am a little concerned. From the tone of your post it sounds like you are bidding farewell to your many friends and followers in the Forex world. I hope not. You have given me and others as attested to deep insights into successful trading by following your methods and we are grateful. It is my sincere hope that I misread what I took to be your farewell and that you will be around and among your many friends in Forex whom you have successfully mentored over the years both here and on FF. Regardless please accept my heartfelt thanks and gratitude for your kindness. Roger |
