Post subject:  How to simulate a small account with a grid trader?

Hi Folks!

I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to simulate a small account with a dangerous grid trading bot on it.

I have been playing around setting up X-Meter and also Jitterbug Duplex (I have recently joined entropy forum) on a small demo account of £200 with 1:100 leverage to simulate using a high risk EA on an account that is "blowable" so to speak.

However, because there is only £200 in there, it is constantly failing to place extra trades due to insufficient margin.

Should I be looking to decrease the leverage?

Also I notice that the criminal's minimum lot sizes on both of my bots are showing as 0.1 when I tried to tune them to 0.01. I'm using Alpari and FXpro. I'm thinking of trying FXCM.

Any ideas peeps? :)

Cheers!

Jon.
