I would like to share with you a Grid Break-out Trading System with simple rules.

------------------------------------ --------------
Buy Stop @1.3060 ; SL 40pips, TP 20pips
Buy Stop @1.3040 ; SL 40pips, TP 20pips
Buy Stop @1.3020 ; SL 40pips, TP 20pips

Current market price: 1.3000 (grid 20pips for example)

Sell Stop @1.2980 ; SL 40pips, TP 20pips
Sell Stop @1.2960 ; SL 40pips, TP 20pips
Sell Stop @1.2940 ; SL 40pips, TP 20pips


1) Open pending orders at the LONDON and NEW YORK open session GMT hours for example
2) Grid Size : 20 pips
3) Range Grid size : for example with a 20 pips Grid Size, 200 pips would mean 10 BUY STOP pending trades > to the current market price and 10 SEEL STOP pending orders < to the current market price
4) Position Size : x% of the account balance
5) Take Profit : in pips
6) Stop Loss : in pips
7) Close ALL the PREVIOUS daily PENDING order BEFORE entering NEW pending order at the LONDON and NEW YORK open session
8) Close ALL the PREVIOUS daily OPEN trades BEFORE entering NEW pending order at the LONDON and NEW YORK open session
9) Close ALL the OPEN and PENDING order if Profits are +5% for example for the day
10) Close ALL the OPEN and PENDING order if losses are +5% for example for the day

Because I don't trust manual backtesting even if some of the last few month were profitable, an automatic ea would be a more reliable way to check this method on a longer period !

I share this trading system with you because of the profitability shown for the last few month but it's NOT ENOUGH !

So in order to check the robustness, could someone kindly code this EA in order to backtest it automatically through a longer period ?

There're zillion implementations of this strategy out there. Try google "Empty4 breakout EA".
Market is noisy 70% of time, it would'nt just give out 20pips w/o triggering your counter side order's SL. The last couple months are within the rest 30% of good days, that's why you see the "profitability."
