There is no need to take every image you can find, just those notable ones, e.g breakout, ranging

look for patterns that seem to repeat themselves

I am the opposite. I need to see them overlaid or side by side to compare. I guess I am not at the level to just look and go. I hope to get there but have not yet. But we both know they repeat which is the idea. How you see it does not matter as long as you see it. That is my opinion.

True dat; first time it's happened to me in real-time

Was going through my charts (which are opened in reverse alphabetical order). I had posted USDTRY and USDZAR charts on the forum and was continuing to scan the charts. Then I came across EURSEK H4 and thought, "Wait!, i've just seen this!...", ...scrolled back on the charts, and hey presto, USDTRY and USDZAR were just sitting right there, looking very similar to EURSEK H4 (down to the stop-hunt at "H").

Let's see how much we can milk from them this coming week ( my pick is the USDZAR H4 )

I wish some one could make an indicator to copy the chart pattern then overlay it on another chart. Even if it were a line not candles or bars would be fine. Would save me a lot of work.

Hi Intcust,

I've been working on indicator like this with two my friends who are programmers and it's not an easy task. I even wanted to pay the programming company for such an indicator, but they can't do this. So I suppose than we may never have such an indicator. I've got one more idea that can make life easier. Script that can change the opacity of the windows in Empty4, that you can watch one chart on another. Work in progress still, learning coding. If I'm gonna reach it then I will post it here.

Actually, this is what Captain Jack has been saying all along; patterns repeat ( and have to repeat, coz no market is random, it is rigged from the get go )

Bayesian regression == math, shouldn't be a problem.

The part I'm worried about is "they trained an algorithm" --> Neural networks?, some form of A.I? (this is MIT after all... )
