I did not have it because I don't trade the NZD pairs.
AUDNZD included. It would be beneficial to check which pairs are involved actually.
But as I mentioned It happened on the single SB EA for me many times.
Randomly, not at a set time or at a turn of a candle.
I also used to get a message the EA disabled on a particular pair due to a rogue trade.
Mostly happened to me on the AUS pairs.

Do you use a set Stop loss?
Also do you have it set to Every tick mode = true ?

Still I do not have it on my setup on version 1h.

Yes. EveryTickMode=true, SL=100.

AUDNZD just happened to be the pair that triggered when I rolled back to v1h. Previously has occurred on CADCHF, CADJPY, EURJPY, NZDJPY, USDJPY, AUDCHF, EURAUD, GBPCAD so it appears to be pair independent.

In my case it's not random, it happens every time (on a Friday).

Otherwise I am running The basket version on my LIVE account for 3 weeks now and it is chugging along nicely and making pips every day. Only use it on 1H and 4H TF's on the same account but from 2 different Empty4 installation. I log into the same LIVE account from both.
Taking trend and Ct trades but no closures on reverse. BE at 30 pips and locking 20 pips profit.
TP 40 pips and SL 500. No issues what so ever with this one. DD is very manageable on the higher TF's. I use 0.01 lots per each 2K capital to be safe. GEC at every $20 profit.

So you're using two separate entry timeframes, but using the same management parameters for both?

I ask because SBB uses both OrdersTotal() and AccountProfit(), so each instance will be counting both its own trades, and the other instances' trades in their calculations.

Yep that is OK, I am after the total profit of the basket on the account, which is controlled by MPTM as a whole for the account.
Same Magic number on both time frame as well.

Works pretty good as it is.

I have added a note to the trading hours section of post 1. Those of you with rapidly opening and closing trades need to read it. I will add an idiot check to stop this happening, but do not have time today.

Since updating from V1g to V1j and then to V1k on Thursday, trades are not being taken according to setting - Trade with Trend) It worked well on the 1H producing over a 1000 pips on a live account. For some reason it now takes trades either side of the MA long or short as it feels like doing.

Reading another thread today I cam accros a very irate Shelly who in no uncertain terms trashed MTv711. Could this be the soarce of the current problems? I will personally upgrade to a newer version from 711 irrespective of the currnt problems experienced. Maybe people in the know more knowledgable might like to comment.

Still a great EA and all credid to the creaters

Steve last two days been testing Stochy Bob and like SSB when its rolling its brilliant but when it gets out of sync with PA its not so glamorous.

An idea.....................If we combined the two SSB and Stochy Bob we could select the best times to trade the secret bob signals, would be much more effectively imo. Others here and yourself may have better ideas how than I, but based on my studies of these two EA's and Bob original work here's an idea to look at. It is just one approach of many but gets the point across of these two good EAs coming together to form something really special.

Normal SSB set-up Trend Trade only w/ or w/out 240MA filter
Enter with: secret bob signal
and
Stochy entry entry level hit within (X) candles of secret bob signal or at arbitrary level sloped towards trade, Stoch TF is next TF up or higher from trading TF, stoch setting 2-1-1. (Probably a programing preference)

Exit normal SSB approaches or a stoch level or cross

There is potential to better nail the CT trades too with the stoch filter but I'd rather leave that for testing rather than speculate.

Even more exciting is to be able to have two fast Stoch upper TF filters, this is really closely mirroring what Bob is actually doing in his trading, and if you put this on a chart and visual backtest you see that a lot of trading would cease in the retraces or ranging PA that is causing current DD burden. Imagine SSB rumbling along with small DD!

I can imagine how busy you are Steve so this is an offer of an idea nothing more. This family of EA's is worth the effort, and well done on this so far.

Ik had no changes made to the trading logic. Stop assuming that there is something wrong in the code just because you are too thick to use the bot properly, or you will be in trouble here.

One serious suggestion that I make is this: we forget the counter-trend trades. They appear to me to lead to nothing but trouble. I will leave the ability to take them in future development, but strongly advise that you guys steer clear of them.

Most of us old-timers spent about 6 years trying to work out how to identify the overall trend. Now that Bob has provided it, why fight it?
