Your pictures are from 2 different TF. They are running totaly different formulas. I have explained this difference twice now. Once in the booklet and in another post. The 60 MA on the 4H is the 2MA on the weekly. The 60 MA on the 1H is the 15MA on the 4H or a 2MA+ on the daily. Of course you will get different signals.
I think he just genuinely posted the wrong picture as I know what he is talking about - see below. I only have this on a couple of Empty4 instances so I know it is not really an issue with the indicator but more likely Empty4. I haven't found a solution yet (as it seems a bit random - it doesn't always happen even with the "problem" Empty4 instances). If I find a solution I will post it here.

Thanks for everything Bob (& coder gurus).

Bob,

great results, but how do you set up 31 trades?
Suppose you are using some helping tools (?)

I trade multiple levels and when a currency takes a run it multiplies quickly. I explain this in pages 29-30 of my booklet.
For example I have taken 5 eur/usd trades and closed them for 137 pips. I set up my trades 20 pips apart with 30 pip profit. So I actually score more pips than the move. So while I was eating lunch with Steve I scored 5 winning trades and then closed them out for the day when I got home.

We will look for this and see if it is a problem. There are so many variables and things that can happen when price crosses and uncrosses the decision points. There is also the problem of candles and broker times being different but I dont know. Again I can only go by what I have here. We did program the arrows to stick even though the conditions change but they wont show if the signal doesnt stick all the way through the candle and you change the screen. It is just something that is going to happen because price action is dynamic and signals are a stop point in time. As long as I am in the long term trend it doesnt bother me.

I am not sure what you are thinking with this pic. All 5 large red arrows are winners. Why would you not trade them?? Then the wavy lines popped upped telling you the run is done. How much clearer can it get?? The range buy is telling you to close your sell trade and also telling you a buy here is really not going very far. So why chance it when everything else is telling you strong downtrend until the wavy lines show up.

Thanks Bob,
I got the Point now, I Eventually got out of the Sell Position with a tiny bit of Profit, now I am Holding the Buy until I See a HARD BOLD GREEN Arrow that says the Tide feels like Changing for a Bull run, it might take some time to Show up but it will Come one Day and I am Already in the Trade regardless of whatever the Draw down might be but if I see another RED Arrow saying Sell on the Lower Time Frame, I will renter with Caution Again because on the H4, the Wavy Lines have shown up so the Down trend Momentum might be slowing Down or Exhausted anyhow I am Prepared to Wait and Sit this Out....
It's Part of Learning the HARD WAY but Sure WAY...

Many Thanks,

xrismak ;)

I really enjoyed my time with Steve today. I was expecting a little bit more of a gruff person but he is just one big teddy bear. A true joy to be with. We are lucky to have his leadership and coding skills.

So tomorrow maybe see some of you at Astral's restaurant. Need to do some Facebook time and then bed. results after two days.

pips 1229.7
total earnings $643.79

That is trading my ratio of 1 cents per thousand in the account. 50K account using 50 cent lot sizes.

I wouldn't waste too much time on it Bob. When this happens the indi shows no new signals at all but when you switch timeframes back and forth all the signals show up AND usually they then start working again moving forward. :? It makes no sense.....Empty4. I have seen something similar happen with other indi's occasionally but have never worked out why. I someone has a brainwave then great but it's not the end of the world.

I hope you're enjoying the UK!

Cheers,
Dave.

Hi All,

Seems as though I am having a similar issue with the HGI & some signals appearing / disappearing.

See below a screen shot of before and after the only difference was that in the "after" pic I had just RE applied the HGI template.

As you can see there are several changes and additions.

Any Ideas as to what this might be due to?

Thanks in advance

Ash
