HGI used with Hurst charts

Hey all,

I've now simplified my chart setup since my previous posts. I realized I only really need to look at the slope of the 10TMA as the 5TMA will always already be turning into the direciton we wish to trade before the 10TMA anyway. Also using the TMA bands I found a distraction so I am back to the MTF 10TMA centered to show the higher timeframe direction.

I've posted a screenshot of GBPUSD for December on H4 and we can see that waiting for a closed bar on the OBV_TMATrueslope (10 period) into the direction shown on the higher timeframe 10TMA centered gives a similar entry to the HGI trend arrow but we can now find a suitable point for entry on each and every TMA cross even if HGI hasn't fired a signal. This can be useful if we've missed the previous HGI arrow for some reason (like being at work).

The next task for me is to see whether it is better to hold each position until the OBV_TMATrueslope (10period) changes color or continue to get out based on the hurst extentions. Or maybe exit half a position on the 100fib and hold the remaining half for the change in OBV_TMATrueslope? We'll have to see...

Thanks for answering my question and your update post. I like very much the friendly support from all traders... traders helping traders, that's great in this forum. We learn form each other.

Someone test with higher TMA to select best trades ?

For 2 weeks I test Hurst signal with 40 and 88 TMA on M30 (= 5 and 11 on H4). That give quite good entrances.
I put SL:25 and BE: 25 and jumpstop every 25

It's a conservative way seems to work but It's a pity there is some fail with the EA (no SL set, double positions ...), except the gap this morning and some fails it looks great, you can do a visual backtest with TMA True as I set

Yes I know but nobody answer and I have some interrogations about some "fails". So I decided to put HGB EA with HGI_v15.08 and Hurst filter turn on

I am not sure if that combination will work as 15.08 was never intended to work with iCustom calls ..
