It is also useful to edit in this way if your broker does not offer all the pairs in the default list or if you just want to load up say one or two pairs.

Loading just a couple of pairs means it is easier to get the dashboard up and running on a computer which is short on resources.

Then manually add any others you need.

regarding that i had a lot of trouble because some pairs was also not ok from my broker,so i edited the indicator in metaeditor to be only with EURUSD and after this i added in my Empty4 indicators and use it.
from there on the chart i started to add pairs one after one to see what is working or not ,because when a pair is not working Empty4 get blocked and if that happen and you have the dash indi with all pairs in your indicators folder you need to remove it from there first to reload properly your Empty4.
so...
if you edit Dash indi in metaeditor to be just with EURUSD add like that in indicators folder
then on the chart you load a new pair and that pair block Empty4 you simply close Empty4 and reload it.
because you have Dash indi only with EURUSD Empty4 as default platform will reloadload properly and you can then start to add next pair to see if is working or not.

Also all this can be avoided if the default dash indi from post1 will have as default only EURUSD and everyone can add pair after pair on their Empty4 chart to see what is working or not.

Your broker may be actively limiting the past data you can download, so that the ForceHistoricalData script in post 1 actually becomes ineffective, which means the dashboard load will fail.

By loading just one pair - say EURUSD and manually forcing past data to come in by using the left arrow key, you then know you have the very basic information for the dashboard to load & run.

If this does happen, it tells you quite a lot about the 'quality' of your chosen broker!

youre absolutely right i just said how that worked for me as only 24 pairs was good to download history for them and others made my Empty4 to block,is fixed now and all good for me.even so i dont trade all 24 pairs i am ok with less.
my broker is not the best in the land of brokers but is perfect for me because all my profits are at this moment in my bank account and i am ok with that.

Hi,

Attached in this post is PP Dashboard V1.05 c with a new MPTM Pen EA version.

This version is including the option to close all pendings trades at a specific time for each day of the week.

I am currently working on the option to close all pendings trades if trading conditions have changed.

This last option is a little bit tricky.

Here what I think to code:

- A trade is triggered at a target price.
- With this initial trade, we set an initial stop loss (let say 100)
- If the price goes bellow this SL we close all pendings trade

Easy and should do the trick.

Coding something based on trading conditions will be tricky, (e.g: if Wednesday close if bellow Tuesday low…).

What do you think, if you have better ideas…

PP dashboard version will become V 1.06 and will be uploaded into post 1 once I have coded this option. After that I think we will have the final version

Hi, I am using the 2004 template (on both the dashboard and penEA) and have two multipending trades on GBPCAD and the initial order so three at the same time.
The problem is that the initial trade has not been up to +100 pips so it should not have fired off any multipendings yet. That is if I understand your wonderful Excel simulator.

The picture is on M15 for better view. I am on D1 with the trading.

It is something I flagged last week and which was on my to do list.

The more I code, the more I understand why a lot of coders are calling this platform MTCrap…

Ok my plan for this week is to finish to code the function to close multiple pending trades if price goes bellow initial price target – x pips.

Then I will monitor some trades to make sure that everything is ok.

Then I will modify and share new templates.

The idea is to have everything ready before next week (before the week-end if possible).

Then I will l restart a demo with various setting. This demo should be a medium/long term demo.

Dashboard and MPTM Pen EA V1.06 in this post.

These versions should be close to the final versions.

2 new inputs in the dashboard (in strategy 01 exit):
DeleteUselessPendings (true or false to use the option)
PipsToDeletePending (if market > or < at initial price target +/- PipsToDeletePending, multiple pending trades are deleted).

Let’s monitor this version now…

I was one of the people who couldn't get earlier versions of this to work, and it's working fine now, so I thought I would let you know how I resolved it.

I heard some advice that Task Manager in Windows 8.1 is useful for identifying problems. When I checked it, I saw that Onedrive, MS's cloud storage program, was consuming 60-70% of CPU all by itself - when there was nothing to synchronise. This turns out to be a known problem, and there is a Onedrive Troubleshooter, which I downloaded and ran once, and then Onedrive was all quiet, and now every other program gets the CPU it needs.

So that was easy, once I looked in the right place.
