...confirmed counter signal - I only count a signal once that candle has closed with a signal as you may often find a range wavy in one direction is replaced with a trend wavy in the other depending on price action during that candle. The wavy takes its reading from TMA slope as far as I understand so the threshold for a signal may be crossed and back again several times during one candle. If the signal remains once the candle has closed then price action has made it so and the higher the time period of that candle the more significant.Matinvesty » Wed Feb 25, 2015 5:23 pm wrote:
Thanks for the screenshot.
About the "repaint" as the idea is to get out of the position whenever an counter signal appears, isn't worthwhile to refresh the chart ? But I can understand the idea to keep its state whithout refresh.
Now once a candle has closed confirming a counter signal, price will not be at the ideal place for an exit so I suggest getting out at the TMA band unless price is outside.

I'm willing to improve that technique and test it on a large sample. The timeframe is very comfortable, trades can be planned efficiently and every one or two hours an opportunity is showing up.
So far, 3/4 winning trades (1 was a mockup) and 3 in the green, totaling 6/7

Yes plenty of opportunities on H1 for sure and if an entry is missed usually another opportunity to get in within the hour.. the same goes for exits too.Matinvesty » Wed Feb 25, 2015 7:55 pm wrote:
