Yes I totally agree with that.
I am watching quietly and continue to be amazed at the effort that Wavegarrick is putting into this Awesome set of tools.

I totally agree with you as I almost gave up with the ups and downs and the drawdowns but Leon has really encouraged me with his settings. Great job Leon :hi:

George I am glad you are back and you will also see that I am now finally stearing towards your idea of fresh signals

...this would certainly have to be the way to go if we want to steer towards live trading. And it certainly would have to be with Renes brilliance of giving us many options in exiting losing or winning trades..

Anyway still infancy stage for me and a long way to go for all of us...I welcome fresh Ideas from everyone..

Hi Guys

1) Here is my setfile for Stochs 1 hour set and being traded on my live account currently 400 pips up with open and closed trades and being traded with micro lots...I do not recommend live trading unless it has been thoroughly tested under various conditions...I tested this for more than a month and the reason why I feel comfortable with it is because it is in line with my manual trading style..and conforms very much with Nanningbobs trading methods..

This must be used with the 5 ma t/frame Maddy indicator dashboard set that I posted earlier... 15 minute stochs was also a good performer on this one.. stack trades and so on performed poorly on this set.

The dash board indicator Maddy v1.7:

Maddy v 1.7 single ma 5 Tframes.set

The Ea Mad trader v1.1:

Mad Trader 1 hour stochs.set

This method must be used with the idea of getting into medium term trades...

2) I am currently testing on Demo ...George's methodology with the idea of getting into fresh signals (Indicator maddy dashboard set posted) and am very pleased with the performance of my stack trades 5 minutes ( setfile posted) and 15 minutes ...need more testing and will share at some point the other setfiles. Stochs also looking good here..

The Ea Mad trader v1.1:

Mad Trader 5 min Ma stack.set

Mad Trader 15 min Ma stack.set

Just a note for anyone trading the 5 min stack file you will notice a couple of trade closures between 2 and 15 pips with my 4 and 8 Ma crossover in the opposite direction...this is fine for me because when the trade makes a run for it is worth much more...On the contrary when trades do revese it will often be a swing trade in the opposite direction...I am quite happy with the early closures..hence low drawdown

You do a fantastic job here together with the coders and strategists that made this possible. :hi:
I will do my best to continue to tweak from your setfiles and later hope to share my results if I found something even better.

Hi Patrick,

I dont think anyone will ever crack the forex code

. What we can do is try and reduce our drawdown and let the winners run. And hopefully with people testing different scenarios we will arrive at something meaningful..Anyway still early days in testing the sefiles and I am sure there will be some tweaking along the way.
