I traded this morning at London open and hit target (1,5%) 10mins into the 2nd 1h candle.
So I opened 2 trades on all pairs.

I just opened a buy or sell in the direction of CSS.

Man, i am so looking forward to this EA Mathias is making :)

Kevin
Thanks Kevin.

What size did you trade and which candle did you start on? I started at the open following Gertje's method. I reached 1% and then it turned around and I would have hit my -10% SL (in demo so I didn't as I wanted to see how far it would get - currently at -17%)

How did the second basket with 2 trades on each go?

Cheers

Hi Keith

I used Zennor's method to calc the lots, check his post earlier in this thread.
I opened the first trade on the 0900 candle using Global Prime demo. And then the 1000 candle

That's interesting cause I traded in the direction of CSS on the close of the 9:00 candle (GP) on all 28 pairs. As I mentioned I got to 1% pretty quickly and then the wheels fell off. I am also using Zennor's sizing method. It could just be timing but interesting that you had two successful baskets. I am keen to see what results the others got.

Keith,

I guess you've understood the strategy wrong.
I open on every candleclose until TP is hit, all trades are considered to be part of 1 big basket.

So not two succesfull baskets, but one basket with 2'trades on every pair for Kevin.
This way the losers get hedged, and the winners doubled leading the basket to TP.

I thought Kevin meant that he had hit TP on the second candle then started a second basket

I am opening a trade on every pair on every H1 candle in the direction of H1 CSS using Zennors position size calculation. Did you hit TP of 1.5% on the basket yesterday and if so which candle did you start on and at what time did you hit your TP?

I am concerned that I may be missing something if I am the only one to hit the stop loss. I have noticed that in Zennor's original screenshot he has CSS set with "weighOnlySymbolOnChart" set to "false". In a later post he had it set to true. I am thinking that this shouldn't affect results over the long term. I had mine set to "true".

I didn't trade yesterday.
This should be set to true, like the SuperCSS comes OOTB.

My results for yesterday was a SL hit.. Not the greatest of markets to trade in, very few pairs moved far beyond their daily opens.. All part of the demo process, now to see if the method can recoup and go beyond the loss.

One filter I have been looking at to reduce the number of small whip saw trades is to only take trades above and below the 21 Period EMA. Will implement that filter during the recovery process..

Thought it was just me. Were you trading every candle from the start or your original cross only?
