Here is a screenshot of Rene's tradereport , the DD was a lot more than I had seen 58% !!!!

The EA was put on H4 charts .

My guess is this was just a bit of luck with many pairs reversing and closing out open positions ,,which saved the death spiral that would have happened it the market had carried on in the same direction....

Hello,

Everything was working last week but yesterday i tried to start the EA but no way to make it work. I've tried to redownload the file, the HGI lib and the core library as well. I tried to recompiled the file but i can't put the EA on the chart.
I have the same problem with other EA like dottybot or billybot, basically every EA coming for the forum. The others are working fine. I do'nt know what happened,i didn't change anything during the week end.
If anybody as a solution to that, it would be great. Hope i don't get destroy for a dummy mistake

ps:Thanks again for all the hard work, learning so much here, really appreciate

Drag HGBnDnSSnFB onto a chart then click on the Experts tab. Make a note if you see an error that causes the bot to be removed - any error will be obvious. Add a note about it here if you find one.

When i drag it onto the chart noting happen, same problem with MPTM or MADDY. So weird... Ithink it can be because i'm working on Mac but i had no problem untill now. Every EA is in the browser on the left but every EA coming from the forum is not working. When i compiled them i have no error.

The Diad-style thingy was a huge success on UJ today:

The core library needs some additional checks if UseDiadStyleTrading is enabled. A hedged pair causes chaos, so hedging is not allowed. We need some checks that the various lines are in place before new trades can be sent otherwise they cannot have the correct TP - stuff like that. That is why the GU trades are closed - they were left over from previous trading.

Great start, even so.

I don't post a lot, I just demo and change set files and try different combos just to get a decent setting with as low DD as possible. I have been trying Leon's and TJF's sets and making changes here and there. Anyway yesterday morning , ianp got me thinking about his test set which is great except for the 58% DD

I believe it is a Wavegarrick set as ianp suggested. Anyway I wondered how I could use this set and reduce the DD significantly and I had an idea. What if I set a grid to 1 with Hedging true, TP 25, close hedge at 25 and basket tp 25. Basically everything set to close at 25 pips. I set the EA up and started the demo and it is a beautiful thing watching 25,25,25 closing one after another.

What happens that I have to watch for is as trades close and open new b/s stops 25 pips away it can leave the opposite stop farther and farther away from the starting price. I simply close these and the genius little BOT opens a new one 25 pips away and it's ready for action again.

And here is the Trade report. The first trade closed with this set was 2 hours after rollover yesterday!Which means this is about 15 hours of trading!!

Now I realize this is only 1 day and I'll have to see how it performs over a period of time and conditions. I have seen it close two hedged positions and several singles while I was typing, so we'll see.

I'm going to close down my demo today. Running out of space

, but just wanted to share how it has been behaving since 13/3, so almost 7 weeks. It has been pretty quiet and only this week, it ran into major drawdown.
This was using TJF's setfile from page 2 on H1

Well done, nice to see you expanding and putting extra thought into this. Yes, must admit great to see those quick 25 pip closures

I will add the additional hedging control for testing in my set as well.

Something I have been contemplating, is using Steve's dash board ea set up for the W1D1H4 pivots to recognize daily trend direction or we can even set it up for D1H4H1 pivots for immediate direction to open a dedicated chart template set up for HGBnDottynSSnFb.

Obviously I will only have the pairs that I want the Ea to trade on the Dash Ea. So we don't have to have so many charts open.

If the Ea opens a trade against the daily trend direction I can make an informed decision if I want to close my trades for that particular pair. The good thing is that the dashboard Ea wont open charts for pairs that are ranging.

It simply has to work in my opinion
