NeoTrader, I was a fool to not see that function insideNeoTrader wrote:Hi dentiok,You can do this with my version. Just drag the indicator a second time on the chart and set autoTimeFrame to false and give your desired TF in the parameter "timeFrame".dentiok wrote:With all respect and if you have some time, it may be possible to add a mtf function to the previous list? especially to see what´s happend in lower TF´s e.g: Current TF=daily, Lower TF=H4. That would be possible?
Look at the pictures in my release message. There you will see that the indicator is working in three different TFs at once...and you can open up to 10 indicator windows with different settings on one chart.

NeoTrader
Now, my request is: may be able to see a lower TF in a higher TF? e.g. current TF=H4, lower TF=60 at once. Not the opposite.
The idea behind is to evoke what is done with "ShelleyJem" . . . ok, just the idea: see a previous TF (in a current TF) as a filter and optimize entries and exits, nothing of basket, EA´s, etc

Re: Baluda Slope Strength Indicators
Baluda and Neo,
Your work has already been appreciated and I am part of that. What I would like to see in this indi is the green and red lines based on ratio of slopes of 2 currencies and say if it gets above 0.5 I buy the strong and sell weak and then close trade when ratio decreases back below0.5,
Ratio would be slope of weak/slope of strong currency (negative does not matter in the calculation).
Can you do that pls.
Thanks

Greatly appreciate your contributions to NB 10.2. It's refreshing to see yourself, Baluda and all of the other coders banding together to advance the common cause with Mr. Hopwood. This may not be the place for it but was wondering if you could incorporate your "tma TrueMode" option into the attached indicator? Thanks again,
Steve

You're welcome...dentiok wrote:NeoTrader, I was a fool to not see that function inside. . . my little brain . . . Thanks for making me realize. This is what I need and what I was asking for.
I don't really understand what you mean? you can switch to any timeframe in any timeframe you need...dentiok wrote:Now, my request is: may be able to see a lower TF in a higher TF? e.g. current TF=H4, lower TF=60 at once. Not the opposite.
Do you mean both TFs in one Window. overlayed one over the other?
i still have a problem to understand your problem...just drag another indicator on your chart and change the timeframe...dentiok wrote:The idea behind is to evoke what is done with "ShelleyJem" . . . ok, just the idea: see a previous TF (in a current TF) as a filter and optimize entries and exits, nothing of basket, EA´s, etc

Thanks...forexripper wrote:Your work has already been appreciated and I am part of that.
I f you can give me an example of how you want it to be calculated i can try it...please use the Variables BaseCurrency for the first currency of the Pair and CrossCurrency for the second. Or try to explain it otherwise so that i can understand what you really want.forexripper wrote:What I would like to see in this indi is the green and red lines based on ratio of slopes of 2 currencies and say if it gets above 0.5 I buy the strong and sell weak and then close trade when ratio decreases back below0.5,

Hi SMScom,
Be patient...
But your mod is also really neat... do you mind if I incorporate it or parts of it as an option to my pimped version?
I like the idea of the overlapping tma timeframes. But do you really need fonts that large?
happy trading,
NeoTrader

Re: Baluda Slope Strength Indicators
Thanks very much Baluda and Neotrader. The abundance of coding talent in this site is quite intimidating. Some of us feel like high school drop outs in a Harvard graduate school lecture room, just keeping up with developments is a struggle. So, please keep up the good work and do not be disheartened. The lack of comment is not due to us being unappreciative but it is more due to the fact that we are finding it hard to keep up.
Kind regards

So in my e.g. it is GBPNZD pair.
BaseCurrency = GBP
CrossCurrency = NZD
Yesterday i.e. June 17th GBP slope (normal not true) was -0.43 and NZD slope(norm) was 0..75 so the ratio of weak to strong i.e. GBP to NZD was 0.43/0.75 = 0.57 and today it is 0.41. This shows that GBP has gained some ground against NZD since yesterday so I will look to close any GBPNZD short positions. So the indicator should have looked for say short this pair when its ratio went below 0.8 and close (today) when the ratio fell below 0.5. Time can be user defined. I like to look at NY close.
These are no magic numbers (it could be below 0.9 or 1 or whatever) and so we need to play with them to optimize the best setting but this is what I am thinking. So instead of the difference between the two it should be their ratio which shows how fast one is improving or deteriorating against the other.
Hope this helps.
Thanks again for considering this request.

Re: Baluda Slope Strength Indicators
hi, NeoTrader,
Can you introduce some usage about your indicator?
for me now, I hidden the diff line and observe the base and cross currency.
open order when H4 cross occured and H1 ALREADY crossed.
