It is entirely possible to be in positive pips yet negative cash. Ok, so granted manual trading but here is something I have live on UJ: +222 pips; -$50 cash. The culprit apart from me getting the trades wrong in the first place - swap.

Pips do not tell the real story. Cash does. We are either in + or - cash territory. Pips do not matter a hoot.

I didn't refer to the cash/pips discrepancy. I was puzzled about the equity graph.

It is a risk off situation + combined with the GBP sell off due to Brexit

But the trade size in this account seems higher than the one you've used in your SPB

So you have a smaller sized account trading a larger trade size.

Nope.

The Brexit sell off didn't start mid December, it started July/August. Have a closer look.

And you could say that Brexit started even earlier but it doesn't matter when an event starts,
it matter when the EA give signals and it matters even more when there is a large trend.
For example look at the GBPYJPY from November and until now on 1H

And the CADJPY was sold off because the price of oil suddenly started falling big time and this happened to coincide with "risk off" and created a long run down on this pair.
Now will these pairs stop and swing back to allow for trade recovery?
It is possible but I don't know how soon, I'd wait and see.

I'm now running 5 POS accounts but my POS is significantly different so my results are not relevant.

However, your results reminded me of the importance of the trade size
You see, not only we have to be VERY conservative in our trade size but also we have to be aware that the pip value is different between currency pairs.

This is not something that our current series of EA's is considering so sometimes we will have a situation where we have 5000 pip DD in currency pairs which have low pip value and the DD is manageable
and other times we will have similar number of pip DD but in pairs which have higher pip value and in the 2nd case we blow the account.
