Many thanks for this indi again. And for your explanation too.
But can you explain this litle more please?

How you explain on attached picture - for SELL must be column1 (Spread) less than column2 (Buy Swap).
This means that for BUY must be column1 less than column3? Or greather?
What this conditions mean - what it tell us?
And +/- at Spread value does not matter? (4,9 is not less than -5,50).

Hello, Dwain. I noticed no one has posted here since Nov and I've been playing with your indicator. If you don't want it here, just say so and I'll remove it. I cleaned up the code a bit, and removed the M30 TF and split the rest into groups of 2: LO, LM, HM, and HI. First value CS is just the current 0 bar for each TF as you had it already. No other totals. I also added a value to only show the numbers if > a certain value, such as 2.0, which makes it easier to read for me. I also hid the Slope of the Slope and Big Picture because I didn't see how it helped me; maybe it does for you. It's obvious that any change in direction (trend) starts from the lowest value (Ticks first, then M1, etc.) and the lower TFs drag price up or down until it finally reaches the MN1, so this indi basically shows you what price is doing anyway, but does kind of help see all TFs at the same time.

Hi Dwain.
I thought, trying to look at the CSS in a different way.
Do not check what the value currently is (if is value above or below 0, 1.5, 2.0 e.g.), but only if is current value higher or lower then previous and by the direction paint bar red or green.
This visualisation showing CSS trend for each TF.
I do not know yet if this can be useful, but I'd like to try it out.
Can you modifi your indicator accordnig this condition please?

For some reason, the daily/weekly/monthly stats do not show correctly, they only show the same number for me.

I tried loading the 1.4e version posted above and it didnt seem to have that problem, what could i be doing wrong? Im using default settings. Made sure i had all the available history downloaded. The numbers also drastically change when i change time frames, im not sure if its suppose to do that or not.

Im concerned that it might be throwing off the Big Picture and Slope of Slope readings.

I consider this thread to be essential reading and am going to bang on about it in my WRUP.

Thanks for some fabulous work Dwain. 9X9 should be an essential part of everyone's trading arsenal.

Thanks, Steve and Dwain! I had a lot of fun playing with this indicator last week and had some ideas to give it more flexibility for use with TDesk. I took the version that Steve posted and added 2 external inputs:

EntryStrength is set to 200 by default and is the same signal as in Steve's version
ExitStrength is set to 1 by default and is a new variable that I added

I added ExitStrength to give us an option to exit the trade when the strength drops below a certain level. I have not started using this to close my trades yet, but I will be playing with the number to see what value might be good to decide when the position is ready to go back the other way. I'm currently using SL and TP based off of ATR, but hope that I can be more efficient with using exit strength to close trades instead.

I also changed the column names for TDesk. 9X_Ent stands for 9ofX Entry and is the same signal Steve's version sends to TDesk. 9X_Ex stands for 9ofX Exit and is the new signal that can be used to close the trade.

I haven't coded anything in 15 years so use at your own risk
